If they come back for him he will go. He can double his wages and win major honours, over here he can only do that by moving to City.
-
It is a crazy price and the market is getting out of control (thanks PSG) but with that being said, Van Dijk is quality. A CB with pace and decent passing and dribbling skills is not common and is very desirable.
It is an insane price but it's not just thanks to PSG's spending that has caused transfers to sky rocket, the EPL's going rate has always been OTT…....in saying that the VVD deal has been a nice little earner for Celtic too.

I expect Coutinho to leave in the summer unless something ridiculous happens (like winning the CL ).
I haven’t seem much of Keita but my understanding is he’s more box to box. I’d like to see a Mascherano Didi Hamman type protecting Liverpool’s defence with two ball winners/creators in front of him feeding whichever version of the fab four Klopp deploys.

i'm not too sure about that..

Sorry boys, not happening. There’s only Barcelona, Bayern and maybe PSG who can compete with them.
- Most expensive squad in the world
- Financially self sufficient
- Best training facilities
- Own clubs in Spain, Japan, USA as feeders and to give younger players experience
Nobody is anywhere near them and won’t be until FFP is removed.

Plus, Mourinho is totally losing the plot.

Plus, Mourinho is a total prick

Agreed. Although he has as much entertainment value now that he’s grumpy and wears cardigans as he had when he was young, arrogant and wore sharp suits. Some of the bollocks that comes out of his mouth has me in stitches.
While utd’s results have improved since last year, I can’t believe any utd fan can be happy about the style and quality of play under Jose. Whiny Maureenho going to Anfield to play for a draw must have Fergie turning in his wine cellar.

^^ "Turning in his wine cellar.."

United were off to a good start but definitely have been frustrating to watch lately. The title is going to City, no doubt in my mind. The thing that worries me is that I can't see DeGea or Pogba wanting to stick around much longer if United continue to play way below their Fergie era standards. I'm honestly surprised DeGea didn't leave years ago.
-
But on a positive side, how about Ashely Young turning into one of the best RWB's in the game right now. Very cool to see.
-
As a LFC fan I find it hard to say nice things about utd, but I like the way they are trying to build something with young players like Martial and Lingard and I think it’s a shame that they aren’t playing the kind of football that has been their trademark for nearly 30 years.
Ashley Young has improved as a player but is still one of the most objectionable little shits ever to kick a ball.
There. I almost managed a whole post about utd without being rude [emoji847]

the way they started their season with the 4-0 wins were greatly inspiring. but then after pogba got injured, they never played the same again.. it's been frustrating to watch the games of late, but i'm still keeping hope that the good performances will be back. i actually fancy mou as a manager because i feel his personality is very much like SAF. unfortunately, he's such a sulk and i don't agree with some of his parking the bus tactics..

New Year’s Day away trip to Stoke to watch a dour relegation battle with my awful team Newcastle. It’s forecast to be extremely cold, with an 80% chance of a downpour of rain…..this is what New Years Day is made for ️️

Too bad Coutinho will leave in summer, though, he's playing a terrific season so far. Do you think he'll stay? I mean he's already played in Barcelona once (fo Espanyol) and who would decline an offer from the FCB?
Well that went faster than expected and Phil is now officially signed to FCB.
-
So the fab four became the fab three now. Do you think LFC will buy anyone to replace him?
Although he isn't eligible to play in the Champions League for Barcelona this season, they have a tremendous offense now: Messi, Suarez, Dembele, Coutinho… and God help every other team if Griezmann joins them in summer ???.
