Also, I'm still almost irritated that Aubameyang went to Arsenal virtually unchallenged by any other clubs and for a bargain price IMO. This guy is quality, how the hell did that happen?! And why does it make me so angry?!
Unchallenged….....?
After ten years in Dortmund our Chefscout (Sven Mislitat) left BvB in November 2017 towards Arsenal unexpected.
One is left with the impression, the Aubameyang deal was arranged much earlier .You think it is a bargain and we quadrupled our purchase price..... it remains a mystery to me. Way to much money is leaving upfield to continental Europe :).
-
Unchallenged as in I don't recall any other clubs with deeper pockets trying to go after Aubameyang and outbid Arsenal. And I absolutely think his 55M fee is a bargain for a player of his quality when you consider how inflated the market is now and what players like Lukaku, Sanchez, Coutinho, Pogba, etc went for.
-
Be sure, he himself has the deepest pockets you can think of.
Wait before he shows his High Heels.
(Can take a while, because there is always his "Entourage" trying to protect him.)The market seems inflated, because no one can take the risk and time to educate and train during work!
Mondial Panem Et Circenses! Not more and not less…..

taking predictions now…
WC winner and CL winner....
my best bet.
Man utd if they get a good run for CL or PSG
and for WC winner Belgium..
-
WC=Germany
CL=PSG
-
But Belgium is for sure a "dark horse" of sorts in this world cup
-
WC - Brazil
CL - Man City -
i haven't kept track of brazil ever since the blasphemy at the 2014 world cup. but belgium are definitely a dark horse. on paper they can be quite a strong team. oh yeah. with my heart, i do hope england win the world cup, but that seems very unlikely…

@Megatron1505 damn you. hahaha. i knew i was gonna get shit from someone when the full time whistle blew..
-
Your center backs were dreadful mate, whereas our captain is (I believe) currently the best English defender. If he was at a top 6 side he would be a cert for the World Cup.
-
I missed the game and I haven't even brought myself to watch the highlights.

Seriously proud for Tottenham and their performances overall in this Champions League campaign. It's not like they have exactly been playing scrub teams either. I would argue they've had the toughest schedule of any team. Great job guys.
Also pretty cool to see four PL clubs in the final 16. That's what we call representin'
Edit: just realized there's 5 PL clubs left in the champions league. Forgot about Liverpool, which is easy to do
-
All jokes aside and speaking of Liverpool, what a thrashing they put on last night. I have to say that Mane, Salah, and Firmino are my favorite front three to watch right now. Absolutely deadly on the counter. Reminds me a bit of the Rooney/Ronaldo/Tevez days. Great performances by the English clubs so far.
