If I were Southgate (which I clearly am not) I would start our strongest team. Whoever wins will take great momentum and confidence into the last 16.

I happen to have a friendly view of both the English and the Belgian team (as long as they don't play us, needless to say) so this is lots of fun to follow. How did that fitting citation from the classics go…."si tacuisses" or some such?
