I've been sewing more lately, makes me appreciate the construction of IH clothes even more. Here's some signal flags I made for my dad's boat, and a couple of tote bags I did. If you can read nautical flags you'll know the name of the boat and the registration numbers and what state it's in. I used old seed bags, kaihara denim, and bandanna for the inside pockets on the bags.

Custom Skate Deck - Eagle Vs Snake in a storm motif. Acrylic marker on wood. Done entirely by freehand.

Last worked on this in 2014 (first pic). Did the remaining two thirds since Monday.

Friend brought me some gymnastics grips that he busted the Velcro on. Replaced the Velcro with a leather strap and double D ring. They’re bulkier now but should work fine. Was nice to get back into some leather crafting. Still hate the stitching…

This thread is dead, but I'm going to reanimate it.

I wonder if any of you have been working on art lately? I'm a painter/illustrator/designer by trade so I'm always in the studio. Here's me with some recent paintings at the opening reception for the last group show I was in at La Luz De Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles.

@gaseousclay Thank you! The landscapes are just a series I've been working on for the last few months. I'm kind of all over the place. I get bored easily so I am always trying something different.

Do you do commissions Neil?  We're getting the unit to the left of the current office/workshops in August.  That will be dedicated offices, reception area etc etc. leaving the other 2 units for where actual work is done….
