IHV-16 - 12oz Indigo Selvedge Denim Hunter's Vest
-
x-post from WAYWT. Just a little love for a vest that didn't get a ton when released. I think the buttons are very eye catching and the pockets are extremely useful when on horseback.

X-post…
Finally re-purposed the IHV-16 as a carpenter’s vest. Works exceptionally well. Thanks for reminding me about this piece @jordanscollected

@neph93 it looks great on you Rueben. It’s so soft and supple that if you have the correct fit, it’s like you are wearing nothing (not literally). I can’t see how this got passed up by most on its release.
Who will join Rueben and I on the IHV-16 “revival tour”?

@Untucked has one too so we’re all in good company.
I enjoyed mine again today. It is a lovely weight and very easy to wear, as well as being emminently practical. Looking forward to seeing some indigo dissappearing from it.
@Giles, yours is pretty beaten up, no? Also is this fabric essentially the same material as the shirting wabash, just without the dots?

That looks great @Giles. I added a (fake) Sherriff's badge to my top pocket in hopes of creating some evo patterns (not sure it will work).
Did you remove your zipper pull or tuck it in?
what is that zipper pocket traditionally for?
lastly, are the buttons made from anything notable?

goes to buy a pack of smokes to confirm
"$12? who the hell can afford to smoke?!!"
I'll take your word for it.

Not to mention the dumbassery of the effects on your health. I'll take pictures the next time I wear it with Camel filters and a Zippo. Only one of us needs to be a dumbass
