Evolution Of Other Brands

Someone asked I post these. No evolution per se. Dry Clean only
32X32 These are Purple Label Ralph Lauren Moto jeans. 10oz. Japanese, left hand twill. Not self edge. 2% polyurethane. Below the articulated knees, the lower leg design is three panels, mega skinny. Back pockets are articulated as well, I dunno how well the pic shows it. Every piece of hardware is embossed and the pockets are functional believe it or not. And the patch is calfskin.

This is my old man's. He left it in my car last night, so I had to grab some pics. He wears it often and he's the kinda guy who isn't afraid to jump right in on any job and get dirty. In short, my dad is a badass.
you should measure his jacket and gift him an IH type 3

These N&F Elephant 5 22oz jeans are my most faded pair after owning them for 3 years and as part of a rotation with several others. Ay any rate, they are my fastest faders.
Thighs are the only area where fading is strong. Everywhere else it is only getting started.

wore my eternals 883 again last month while the DWC resolute pair was getting repaired.. i'd say about 4-5 months of actual wear..

I bought a pair of Sauce Zhan jeans five years ago, and they've become one of my favorite pairs of summer weight jeans. In fact, I liked them so much, I decided to buy another pair for when the originals finally die. I thought I'd do a quick comparison shot before the first wash/hem/wear.

Man, that is one amazing pair of denim [emoji15]
How does one cop a pair?

@Anesthetist, I spent the last 45 minutes trying to find a link for you, but I came up empty. Somewhere on TaoBao.com, there's a shop for Sauce Zhan clothes, but it's all Chinese and really not non-Chinese friendly. I bought through a proxy service, Yoybuy.com. The way they work is this: once you find the item you want, you copy the url and paste it into their website buying service page. You pay them, they pay the merchant, who then ships to their Chinese warehouse. When it gets there, they weigh the package, calculate shipping, send you a bill for the S&H costs, and mail after you pay. If I recall correctly, it adds 15-20 bucks in transaction costs, all total. Communication is sketchy and the entire time I was only about 50 percent sure I'd be getting what I thought I ordered in the size I wanted. It's definitely not like dealing with IHUK.

Well sometimes the process is as exciting as the product [emoji23] I guess I might just stick to that pair of 14oz 888s I want!
Thanks for the heads up though, they are a really beautiful pair. Definitely proof that even lightweights can be badass.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How it looked when new:
-
I went and got Mexican food while I was doing laundry two weeks ago so long story short I got garlic butter on my coin purse… I washed it in the sink at the hotel with some body wash but it still smelled. So I washed it again today.

That jacket looks really great @twin –-it can go another 20 years no problem.

3sixteen ST-120x Slim Tapered Shadow Selvedge
I bought these from @spitfiredealer a few years ago. They were pretty much as new when I bought them, save for a couple of dog biscuits he’d left in a pocket. I’ve thrashed the crap out of them since then, replaced rivets, sewn the patch back on and performed several, hurried (read: hideous) Frankenstein repairs. They’re a wreck but they’re a great fit on me and I bought a replacement pair from Rivet & Hide in September.
