Photograph and Camera talk

Thank you,it comes from the fact that in the days before color film, people would hand colorize select parts of the B&W images. Now through the wonders of Photoshop it’s much easier. If you search on #selectivecolor on Instagram there are some really, really cool shots. I also think that once you do this it elevates the image a little closer to being “Art”,which is something I struggle with.

I was messing with the night mode on my phone at dusk and I think these are interesting.
-
Here's a few recent ones I've snapped. All on the Fujifilm X100V, so fixed 35mm focal length essentially

Also, few snaps from my 30th trip to Cornwall week before last

@LewisStonehouse The colour's are magnificent! Are you doing any post editing or is that the raw captured image?
-
@goosehd few light touches in Lightroom but no major editing. That being said I'm using the X100V's in-built film similations and exporting a jpeg: Velvia where they're super vibrant, Classic Chrome on the more muted ones and Acros for b&w. To be fair, the colours were amazing in real life too, Cornwall really is stunning.

Thanks @louisbosco - I was chuffed with how they came out
Yeah, it was a windy old day…..
It was so bright and still, can't imagine conditions to shoot crisper reflections

I started using a very small and portable tripod for some of my Iphone forum pics and thought someone else may find it useful.
Strong points: ease of use, super portable, ultra light weight, cheap,
Weak ones: main one is lack of legs, so either you love ground level perspective or your find a table, car hood, etc.
It really cuts down on time to set up the phone and take the pic. Only about 25 dollars, weighs probably 10 grams and fits in your wallet ( about the size of two credit cards glued together).
