IHSH-33-T - 12oz Selvedge Denim Western Shirt With Tonal Stitching - Indigo
-
@cander49 This looks wonderful. Wearing a shirt without washing for 3 rough years is something that I could never pull off. But the results seem to be amazing!
-
Been wearing this one a lot lately.
-
Really nice. So understated.

Looks great @cander49 Your wilderness shots wearing this one back on page 4 inspired me get one a year or so ago. My first denim shirt and I was amazed how soft it became. Must admit it's had a wash or two though. Very little fading thus far but I love the dark indigo against faded jeans.

Nice, @Oroccoco! Post it up and let's see how it's doing!

is this slightly larger than IHSH-33 ? seems so compared to measurements. Also the denim itself is different beyond the stitching? colors make it seem like it

They aren’t specced any differently apart from the colour of the stitching. The denim is the same, the tonal stitching just makes it seem a different colour. As for size, the published measurements are generated from an aggregate sample from the lastest batch so some variation is inevitable.

Thanks!!
Any recommendation on the size then..
I wear a medium in: IHSH-222-IND
I have a small in: IHSH-75odThe main concern for me for this shirt is the length as I am only 5'8 and if I go with the medium I don't want the shirt to be too long, the small size seems to be in line with the other two shirts above.

or here for mobile:
you will be able to view a video of how to compare the sizing of two different Iron Heart products (up to three different products can be compared at once).
I have run this compare for you, see below. I have blurred the numbers that are irrelevant to you for ease
What dimension is most critical to you? Shoulder, chest, waist? Let me know and we can advise further as i guess you are slightly between sizes on this

Wow very helpful!! I will think about it - I guess I was looking for some more real life feed back from other folks who may have similar shirts. I am leaning towards the medium and perhaps do a really hot wash to shrink it as much as possible.
-
@constant struggle Sounds like we're a similar size. I have the IHSH-33-IND as well as the IHSH-75. I generally tend to wear Small in work shirts and Medium in westerns. I look for shoulders and chest as my 'key' measurements then the rest works out however, I have to cuff sleeves sometimes. The 12oz selvedge denim on the 33-T is sanforised and one washed so I wouldn't expect much, if any, shrinkage.
-
Thanks for the advice - hoping to finalize in the next day or two, looking forward to it.

Shirt arrived today, medium was definitely the right choice. Can't wait to wear this thing when it gets a little cooler. Also was nice to get the FW2021 lookbook as part of the order!

for anyone considering this one, it's definitely one of my favorite IH shirts. This one and an IHSH-13 BLU are really the only blue denim shirts I need. I live in Nashville, where it's currently 90 degrees F, and I still rock this thing unbuttoned with the sleeves rolled up over a tank top. Dig it.

Probably my favourite IH shirt so far. Been wearing it for the last month pretty much constantly, to the beach and around campfires, it goes with everything, over a white T or on its own buttoned up to the top. It's incredibly well made and the fit is really excellent.
