Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is pretty great. It sprawls across Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs. Lots of free ranging fauna and lots of chances to pet and feed them.

You are right @Matt , they ought to fly very soon. My web search shows that they usually will fly 3 weeks after hatching…so in a couple of days in your case. Hope you get to see it. I can’t imagine they have a perfect hummingbird flight on their first attempt. Very cool!

Thanks! Would be nice if I can make it to September’s party, just conscious I have a huge work deadline at the end of September so might not know until near to the time whether I’ll have the capacity to spare.
