IH-805 - 21oz Indigo Selvedge Denim Double Knee Overalls
-
Thanks! The 888 Ducks are very comfortable in the tag 35.
That's one vote for a baggy 36… I'll probably give them a go to take advantage of the sale and cross my fingers...

I'm 188cm, 85 kg and a 34 fits me perfectly.
Sounds like Sabergirl might've thought you were buying duck overalls, in which case I would agree that they're much less forgiving, but the 21oz bibs are pretty damn comfy. I'd say it's a tough call picking between 34 and 36 — the smaller size will definitely be tighter on you, but since you're a little shorter than I am, you'll have more room to adjust the straps and get the crotch feeling right. I know that if I wore a 36, I'd be absolutely swimming in them. When I squat, I feel a little tightness in the crotch, but nothing uncomfortable.
I'll let some other people chime in — I can't offer a definitive suggestion, but I will say that probably either will work, and it'll come down to the vibe you want.
EDIT: just noticed the comment about 34 being out of stock, so there ya go. I'd say just try the 36 and you can return them if they don't work (but double check that returns are still allowed in the sale! I think they are, but I know that some companies will do returns for credit only during sales, etc).

That wouldn't bother me if it happened - I'd treat it as banked against the inevitable purchases which will take place at the party in September!
Thanks for the other comments. I'm leaning towards a fitted look through the body, but it sounds like I've got more junk in the trunk going on than you. (188cm & 85kg sounds quite slim to me!)

You bet! Re: height and weight, I'm horrible at guessing sizes for anyone other than myself, but based on what you've said, 36 might end up being just right. And if they're a little big, it's like Sabergirl said — they're overalls, definitely supposed to be nice n comfy. And it's not like they're gonna fall off!

I'm a 33 or 34 in most of my IH pants, depending on the cut. The 34 805's fit me great. I'd say get the 36 since they're in stock and ready to rock.

Thanks all. I've pulled the trigger on the 36s given the sale is on, and asked that the Crew pick the pair with the slimmest body while keeping at least 14 inches in the thigh. Looking forward to trying them on, upsetting my wife (I'm trying to sell it as "me and the bun-in-the-oven will look so cute together in matching denim dungarees"), and hopefully joining the Brotherhood.

Worked in a garden centre during my university summer holidays. A customer once told me "after all this experience, you'll have a lovely garden when you're older".
…
"... after all this experience I'm going to have the bloody garden concreted over!" I retorted.

@EdH:
… impending fatherhood means that the wife is pretty much locked in and I can do what I want in terms of style….
I got zero advice re the overalls, but congratulations!
Thanks! We only had our first scan this week but with everything looking good we decided to start telling people and now I’m slipping it into every conversation I have!
Haven’t got round to telling the DPD guy yet but when he brings me these bibs I’ll be sure to mention it…

Erm, so these are amazing…
Some fit pics for the hive mind to mull over, but I think the 36 was the correct size for me, especially for layering uhfs or hoodies under.

Nailed it bro!
-
Nailed it with the 36 –-kudos on a solid fit

Thanks all. Sooo comfy, even in the heat:
