British journalism in general is so much better than what we have in the states. British journalists will keep asking you the same question if you don't sufficiently answer, will challenge nonsensical answers, and we let people off the hook too easily. "Access journalism," in which you burn bridges by doing your job and only get opportunities by effectively becoming a prop in a given subject's infomercial, has turned journalism into propagangistic entertainment instead of truth seeking here, and the gray line between entertainment, opionion, and actual journalism has resulted in spinning talking heads instead of serious journalists.

when I was living in Australia, my family (aunt and uncle) and a couple of mates worked for Australia post and have good relationships with the contractors. my parcels were all hand delivered while they're at work.

@EdH:
Scotomas…
migraine with visual aura, poor man @EdH hope you have a good neurologist
PM me in case not
I've been getting them on and off for a few years - I think I've had maybe 5 in the last decade. I've logged them all but no uptick in frequency. My NHS GP thinks its nothing to worry about as they are so infrequent. Maybe I should go private to get them checked out properly tho, d'you think?

It sounds quite typical, and you don't have to worry. Difficult to do anything against the aura (the scotoma), for the headache you could try a triptane if ibuprofen doesn't work.

My metabolism used to be my superpower. Eat shit all day every day; lose weight. Now I’m in my early 30s and gain a stone if I dip a rich tea into me brew.

Figured I didn’t need an expensive denim jacket because it doesn’t get worn that hard like jeans.
Got wrangler in black. 40 dollars
Less than 1 month later it’s already broke . The snap button came off the right pocket and I don’t know where it went.The other budget option is Levi’s which is made with stretch denim…
And I really hate the feel of this. It’s so thin and cheap feeling. Are there no decent black denim jackets for under 300 dollars??
