The craziest thing is that Tal had only been playing bass for a few years at that point. Some prodigy shit right there.
If I ever meet God, I'd like that much composure…..
She’s about 24 in that video.
They are so unbelievably tight/in the pocket in this video.
Played this song to my students and we both got tremendous reactions @endo !!! Thanks for posting.
Had to post this here.
RIP Tom Verlaine. Time to listen to some Television.
logged in today, saw sad news rest in peace Mike
Probably the best early footage of Jimi Hendrix. Hard to believe he’s only 24 in this clip.
This is likely more about gear than the actual music but I really enjoy watching someone so accomplished talk about their stuff with zero pretension
I re-watch this at least once a year
One of my all time favorite Who songs. I love Moon in these obvious lip-sync situations.
@GraemeE
Nels is a beast. Thank you for sharing.
@GraemeE Thanks for posting the rig rundown. Love Wilco and Nels. He’s done some really interesting stuff with Julian Lage too
@Matt Enjoyed that video. New to me
Love the voice and music of Iggy since 85, when I first discovered the LP “Lust for Life” in a vintage record store in Paris. ‘Every Loser’, the 19th studio Album of Mr. Pop is surprisingly well worth listening….
@Aetas The Stooges are one of my all time favorite bands. I've been kind of in and out with Iggy's solo stuff.
