IHSH-216-BLK - Heavy Moleskin CPO Shirt - Black
-
@Drumedge I bought my normal IH shirting size of XL in this one and it fits me spot on (for reference I'm 5'11" and 185 lb). It is a tailored cut so if I was planning to layer over say a UHF I believe I would need to size up to XXL or expect keep it unbuttoned. I'd be happy to try it later and send you a few pics of it layered if you'd like.
second off, it's an amazing fabric and even though it's a CPO, the pocket openings are fairly small and they don't add bulk to the shirt. It will become a fast favorite.

Thank you guys! Does this CPO fit like the IH 177 or IH 178? I own both of those in a medium and they are from the original run on both styles. I can layer with both of those as well. Truthfully though, all of this wouldn't be an issue for myself if Self Edge would measure the IH way

I would say off the top of my head my 178 is bigger than my 216. 178 is from the first run, Also.
That is also guessing that both blue and black are similar sizing….

X0post from WAYWT (yesterday)
I called and ordered it from SENY before it went live online because i thought they'd be all gone and not run again, but luckily it's been re-run and gaining some attention on here. There's too many great IH shirts to call this my favorite, but, ok it's my favorite. No the Wabash! wait…

Excellent! How is the warmth of moleskin?
Similar to any of the other IH heavyweight shirts.
There is no loft in the fabric to trap air so don't expect any insulating effect. Perhaps the dense weave is slightly more windproof than average but I'd be shocked if this is something you could actually notice.

This black moleskine is quite the hammer. Deep black beauty.

@DrPat is exactly right. I would say this is a little less warm than a UHF but still a beast. The 10oz moleskin has some nice wind proofing but it’s no replacement for a jacket in Minnesota winters. If you purchase as an out layer you will be happy with it as a “shacket”.
You will not regret owning IH Moleskin this I promise you.

Cash if you don't want the fade, surge if you do, mole if you want the comfort. But fit is King…Trust your gut!

FYI, Self Edge has restocked these and they are currently available in all sizes. I gave in and bought one. Sized up to a large since I want to wear this as a shacket over flannels, hoodies, etc. Looking forward to this one as everyone's fit pics for all colors of the 216 look great.
