Enjoying the fit on that jacket @Appfaff Love the profile of it now when new. Also loving the IHSH-216 used as an overshirt @jordanscollected
-
Thanks Rueben I really appreciate it. It hadn't occurred to me to use the 216 as an outer layer until a discussion in the product specific page of someone looking for pics. When I tried it on at home it opened my eyes to new opportunities.
I'm branching out with all my IH, starting with the 211 getting beat up at the farm. I mean, it's a 17 oz duck cpo, it's not a dress shirt just wear the damn thing. I just needed to have some doors opened in my cobweb filled noggin.
-
@jordanscollected - it took me something like 5 years of wearing IH nearly everyday to wear a western shirt unbuttoned with a Tshirt underneath… Now it's how I wear them "almost" everyday, especially when it's warm. CPOs are also one of those things you can justify having "more than you need" of because of their versatility.
Thanks @neph93 - the shoulders are out of control (Probably from being on a hanger so long) and im guessing after it shapes a bit it will be great. Ever since my first day with the OD Left in 2017, I knew I wanted one of these and went back and forth on black vs indigo, and my void of an indigo type 3 that fit the way I wanted called me by name…
-
Thanks @Appfaff I will continue to explore new ways to wear my IH stuff. Covid has been talked about for long enough, but it sure has limited the amount of opportunities to dress to go somewhere.
That jacket is great on you Adam, and those shoulders will relax. My Indigofera Copeland had comically squared off shoulders when i purchased it, and it's really turn off for some, but it has since become my favorite Overshirt.

good feedback @jordanscollected - Florida Jokes aside, COVID actually helped me really take advantage of my IH wardrobe. I work in a business where slacks, dress shirts and jackets were worn almost exclusively everyday leading up to the shutdowns. Now it's common for our owners to roll up to work in a hat and tshirt, whereas I never saw them without a collar prior.
Also, working from home for half a decade prior, I realized, "look like Sht, feel like shit, work like sh*t" was real.. nearly all my posts from 2015 up to 2019 were while working from home. The first day of shutdown, I sent a video to all my staff and said "Don't take working from home as an excuse to wear PJs and not wash your hair… you will forget what day it is if you don't act like normal." I really do think there is something said about wearing real clothes, even if you don't "have" to wear real clothes.
My ties may stay in the drawer, and my loafers don't get as many miles, but my Wescos have seen some shit

New shirt day. This was one of my goal purchases when it was announced and a late restock plus a fortuitous rogue L made it happen late in the season. Super soft and a little stretchy, this is a worthy alternative to the grey IHSH-64 that I’m never going to score. Looking forward to putting it under my IHSB-C3.

Rueben that Kersey is so great.
@Brock that jacket is otherworldly and the green with the heavy light blue fades is such a spot on combo
@Dishelveled the N1 and outfit look amazing. That watch caught my eye too, what kind is it?

Contest Wabash (doesn't that seem like ages ago?)
April? It was a whole pandemic ago… we should do another comp soon, perhaps to celebrate the New Year?
As for the Kersey it is a large with slightly bigger measurements. I’ve done this with all my shirts the autumn and I’m still in two minds. There is little doubt that a size up would have been too big, but they are all a touch on the small side, length being the major issue. So I’m happy for all the feedback I get. One good thing is they look great under type III’s and vests, so it is very much a matter of making the
most of these things. They are also all made of beautiful, beautiful fabric. I know UHF’s are the main draw for a lot of folks but it is the Wabash, the serge, the chino, the kersey, the moleskin and the chambray where Harald-san really shows his quality imho.
Your Wabash looks fantastic on you.

I truly appreciate it @neph93 The Wabash is such a joy to wear. I know it's a very similar material to the hickory stripe, but the interior facing side of the wabash feels slightly brushed or something, it's so comfortable.
Regarding your Kersey, It looks like it fits great. I've never seen something too big on you (you are very disciplined that way) and it's also my biggest fear. I'll be on the edge of happy, and then just not reach for it in the closet. From photo's yours looks perfect, though i can see where you'd think the side seams, with the dramatic curve of the cut, sit a little high. I've never seen or felt Kersey in real life, but it's really an eye catcher on the screen.
Another contest would be great. I would be happy to participate but would remove myself from being able to win. IHUK had a fun theme and purpose for the contest last time, I have no doubt we could get even more participation this time around.
