The Mad Red Motherf**ker World Tour.

It’s been a busy week! Turns out the Airstream needs a lot more work after digging into it so we weren’t able to camp. Hopefully soon. I’m currently restoring the old Herh vent LaDaue cylinder lifters. A good vent seal is necessary for winter camping… especially when you can’t get the central heater functioning properly...
My wife’s birthday was on the 10th
We drove the town Ace through this very festive private driveway
I built out a new closet for the boys room with reclaimed wood from a building my dad owns. It was fun and challenging. You can see the mad red making an appearance.
We’re currently staying the night at Timberline Lodge for my dads birthday. Hope everyone is happy and healthy and enjoying the holiday season as best as they can!

That post is doing wonders for my festive spirit @Brock Great stuff…. also I may need some tips on closet building in the near future.
thanks Reuben. It’s definitely festive around here. As for the closet tips I’m not sure I’m you’re guy… I’ve never been the best finish Carpenter. My only advice would be to use a table saw and chop saw when necessary.. ripping things and getting straight cuts with a skill saw isn’t the easiest or most practical..

Sorry for the lack of updates in this thread!! I’ve been out of town for the last two weeks in the North Eastern corner of Oregon.
My dad and I built a cabin (that is still in progress) on some land that his dad bought back in the 50’s.
There was plenty of snow and unfortunately too cold for the jacket most days but I will post some pictures from the trip soon.
As for now, who is next in line!? I’d like to get this thing in the post soon.

We spotted quite a few elk on the drive in
And found some mountain lion tracks right outside the front door. They are getting quite comfortable on our property and last year we shot two big cats near our cabin.
We sat by the fire a lot and played our butts off at the Joseph city park.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My dad and I bought 2020 Honda/yeti snow bikes and had them built by Dustin at Outlaw Motorsports in Enterprise (one town north of Joseph) just up the road from our property is Salt Creek Summit snow park that boasts world class snowmobiling and ski touring… we had some serious fun to say the least!! We enjoyed a few hikes. Collected rocks, watched wild turkeys from the front door and played in my cousins wood fired hot tub.

It was a great trip! Sorry about the lack of the mad red but I enjoyed my time with it.
Hopefully Matty123 does a better job than me! Happy new year y’all!! [emoji1365]

It was absolutely glorious! Thanks Adam. But, it is refreshing to be home in our own space…
As far as wanting to be my dad, I’ll gladly call you my pops...

What a beautiful corner of Oregon you’ve got there, Brock. You didn’t kill mountain lions, did you? I thought they were endangered?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I didn’t personally but I would have. They aren’t endangered and they are hunted seasonally in Oregon.. when big cats are seen during the day roaming near children it can be a bit unnerving!

No doubt. They’re scary from afar, too. I’m sure there are a lot more of them out there than here. As a matter of fact, I think Eastern mountain lions are the ones that are (all but?) extinct. Anyway, I’m far from a hunter, but would surely choose your kids or my nieces, over any wild animal.
