How have we not started a podcast thread? There isn't a single platform that has altered my passive free time in the last 5 years like podcasts have. Especially True Crime podcasts. it started with "Serial" from This American Life, and I've been hooked ever since. If I'm in the car, there is a podcast coming through the speakers. At my desk, same thing. On walk, headphones in and podcast rolling. You get the picture.
I'm also a huge NFL fan, and fantasy football takes up a ton of my brain power during the season. I passively listen to 2-3 hours of podcast every day during the FF season.
There has to be some others here who love podcasts.
So lets talk about them!

Boom!
Great thread @jordanscollected !
As the rest of the crew let me control the stereo all day at work for my music fix, I find myself listening to podcasts for the 45min each way commute to work every day.
Here is the current list of my subscribed podcasts and can't wait to get some recommendations from the forum!
Joe Rogan - I forgo the 'comedian' episodes but I fuck with anything that I have not got a clue about, economics, religion, politics, science, sport, outdoors etc.
The Rich Roll Podcast
One Life Once Chance - Toby Morse (H20 band - PMA all day)
WTF
Let Their Be Talk
The Jasta Show (Jamey Jasta from Hatebreed, a more metal version of LTBT with 700% more adverts)
The Grail (New Dean Delray follow on from his 'handmade' episodes)
The Runchuks Podcast (Poker - The host is a bit meh but gets great guests with great content)
Dat Poker Podcast (Used to be the 2+2 Pokercast)
Books Closed (Tattoo Industry)
Tattoo Traditions (UK Tattoo History)
Bill Burrs Monday Morning Podcast
The Tom Green Interview (Tom Green currently travelling the States in an RV with his dog) -
that's a great list @Graham. of course everyone's interests differ but many of those could offer great content for all.
I recommend:
-The Catch and Kill Podcast (about The Me Too movement, focusing greatly on Harvey Weinstein)
-The Drop Out (The rise and fall of Elizabeth Holmes' Theranos)
-Wind of Change (dives into the rumor that the Scorpions song was written by the government to end the cold war)
-Hunting Warhead (the capture of an online predator who runs a dark web site) warning, this one contains extremely disturbing content
I can go on and on but the above stand out as extremely well researched and presented. -
The real question is, how is there not an IHUK forum podcast yet
Each episode is about a handful of products and the people who know them best (aka post a lot about them) are the featured guest?
I know shit when it comes to what it takes to do a podcast, but could be fun?

@jordanscollected I think you'll love this
-
Thanks Giles. I'll give the latest one a listen.

A Forum podcast would be the real “I ️ Radio”
-
It could be called "The Darned Truth About Denim"
Puns are my preferred language…
-
the first episode can be about how once we found Iron Heart, "IHUK'd all my other jeans in the trash"
-
we could go on for hours…
-
Hell to the YES @Giles !!

Good Morning, Malaysia

This one is also a tough listen. It's about Peter Nygard, a fast fashion mogul, and his decades of abuse he subjected people to in Canada and his sprawling estate in the Bahamas. Well told and researched overall.
