Iron Heart International Getting a New Office (again)
-
Yes, we are on the move again.
We are having the summer sale a little earlier than last year because on 1st August, we take keys for a new unit, so we wanted a) to clear some stock out of the way and b) so that the whole team could concentrate on the dynamics of the move.
We are keeping our current 3 units and taking on an additional unit about 100yards away.
The new unit will house admin functions, a meeting room and a larger, lighter photographic studio.
The current unit that is basically now admin functions (we call it the office) will be taken over by the shipping and packing team. We were in danger of running out of storage space, but more importantly, the volume of inbound and outbound shipments has been causing the shipping team a complete logistical nightmare.
We (Les) will knock a new hole in the wall between the current packing area and the current "office" and the packing team will spill into that, freeing up more space in the existing packing area for storage.
The current photo studio will become more storage.
I'll get some photos today.

Expanding/Growing = Good

It amazes me the amount of product you guys fit there. It's possible top get a sense of it on the website, but to see it in person is something else entirely. Pretty cool to see it all in person.

Supply and demand can determine lots of real estate growth

That white brick lighting studio is beautiful. Love the amount of natural light rolling in and how it lays on the brick. If you wanted to shoot against it, it would be easy for an electrician to make a j-box coming either above or on top of (using just a single gang box) the racetrack to knock out the pipe & outlets above. You might still need artificial lighting, but maybe only two lights. Looks beautiful!

…good job and congratulations! @Giles The expansion say's it all!

Congrats to all the Stubborn Crew on the growth. Few were able to do it during this epidemic which speaks volumes about the quality of products and excellence in CS from you guys.
Today I’ll toast to the success of future IH steps. -
