This is a dead sexy piece of outerwear…
-
The chest measurement on these seems like its cut a bit larger compared to other jackets. Is this just the inherent style of the jacket or ??
-
I was thinking that too. But compared to say an N-1 jacket; which has a pretty thick liner, the chest measurements for this jacket seem really big compared to their respective size.
I'm usually a large, or look for lined jackets around the 22.5 - 23 inch chest measurement range. Not sure how I would size this one. Help?
-
In this case, I would be inclined to compare the IH staff’s reported sizing (aka Johnny wears L etc) to what they’re “normal” size is. Did they stay true to form, or did anyone size down? Also you can always rely on the crew for advice either before ordering or after you’ve pulled the trigger.

Thanks, sabergirl! I'll check on that.

@pacreamer Sabergirl’s advice is good, but I can also confirm that this is cut larger (by design) and most of us sized down one when trying these on
-
@Alex are you guys still releasing a no print version as well?
-
A no print version was made, we opted not to stock it though. Check out James Dant and Iron Shop Provisions for the no print ones
Thanks Alex.

Not gonna lie this jacket originally did nothing for me, but the more I look at it the more I realize how really cool it is.

@Anesthetist It looked amazing in person and I regret not trying one on. The problem is I know what would have happened if I did and my closet is already full.

Completely agree with you here. I'm more than likely going to pick one up real soon (by real soon I mean today). Did everyone stick with their normal IH shirt size on this? I'm an XL work shirt/UHF and I was thinking L or XL in this.

And I just saw Alex's post regarding sizing. So @Alex you would be a Large in this yes? IIRC you're an XL workshirt/UHF.
