@Danimal506 I haven't worn mine this way yet, since its been pretty cold. I think the lack of breathability of the waxed canvas is the thing that would make this uncomfortable in the heat, sweat won't get out. In the cold it does a good job of keeping the heat in though.

@Crease I dig the way yours fits and will try to plan my sizing similar to yours. Defo want to be able to layer with a hoodie or anything else. August 2024 seems so far awaaaaaaaay!!! One year and a half for me…
Thanks Man!! Was kind of wishing they had something between XL and XXL but it worked out well I think. Good to have some room to move!

@Oaktavia I'm in the September '24 group. Will be happy to hear when you get yours!

It does look great with a hoodie underneath!
I’m thinking it’ll be a great camping jacket for the desert and mountains. And good for early morning working in, until I get too hot from moving around.

@Crease awesome fit dude!!!
Anybody who owns a v2 Wills, do you ever wear it with a tshirt? I’m not big on layering, so I hope to be able to wear just a tshirt or long sleeve under.
I’m curious what temperature range it can be worn comfortably in.I can chime in. I do wear this jacket with just a t-shirt and I'm good. If I really wanted/needed to, I can definitely wear with a hoodie or an IH UHF western.
Picture I posted on page 54, I wearing just a t-shirt with the jacket.

@Danimal506, I wear mine with just a tee, like you plan, and it's more than enough to keep me warm in the high 30s/low 40s. although, admittedly, I run hot af.
but i;ve put it to the test out in joshua tree, which kinda, sorta approximates TX temps, me thinks…
hope this helps

Yea dude! I run hot af myself. And I’ll be living in San Diego again shortly, so Joshua Tree is a great example. I love camping out in JT! Such a beautiful place. I imagine a Wills would be perfect out there!
Texas is either hot, humid or cold. It’s an odd climate here in Austin. I miss So Cal lol

It has arrived!
A couple quick fit pics at work and my standing up shot.
It fits better than I imagined. Not as slim as I expected for how heavy I am currently.

Thanks @Oaktavia , means a lot! Yeah I usually tend to go for a little more fitted, but in this size its already a little tough reaching over my shoulder for the seatbelt in the car LOL!
Its always between this and my 526-PJ lately. All other coats are taking a breather for now. We haven't had a ton of snow this season here in Colorado, so I haven't really tested out the wax, but those creases just set in so nice.
You've got me wanting a 19oz 526L now though! That thing looks awesome!
