IHSH-293-OD - 18oz Vintage Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo Overdyed Black

I cant wait, definitely gonna be my new favorite piece. Could we please get this 18oz overdye fabric as a chore coat please
-
@skong2099 , I typically wear size L in IH shirts. This I went with XL, it’s fine to wear as overshirt and also as shirt. L would be uncomfortable for me.

Size chart updated. Addition of Tag XS.
@Graham, do you have a feel for what changed on the sizing chart this go around? Are you still a large? Also, are the waist and opening dims swapped in the chart? Seeing waists that are larger than openings on most sizes.
-
Fabric, bizarrely, feels like a very heavy linen.
-
@pechelman the previous version was a little bigger in the body, such as chest and waist. Graham is off this week on vacation so I'll have him confirm next week when he's back.
The waist/opening runs pretty much straight down so the difference is minimal

My XL came in and it is epic. What a great shirt and great fit. Same fit as my UHFs (also XL). Got that wolfman shampoo, too.

WOW...I know I say this after every new IH shirt arrives, but this just might be my favorite of the bunch. I almost dropped the package when the UPS driver handed it to me because I just wasn't expecting the HEFT. The most surprising thing I discovered was how incredibly soft the shirt is given its overall weight. The details are perfect and the fit is 100% spot on. I will follow up with some pictures tomorrow when the sun is out. Also...I need to go scrub my hands...after wearing for 15 minutes it looks like I dipped my hands in a blueberry pie! LOVE this shirt!!!

@AdamJ, looking forward to your followup on this. I have the prior (last year) version in a large, and I'm considering getting an XL for layering here in Colorado. If the body measurements are a bit slimmer on this re-stock, that would be great to know. Thanks in advance!

Just got mine in and I 100% agree on how soft it is.

LOVE this one...it is a great wind-stopper!

@SaddleSC looks good on you!

Looks great, @SaddleSC. Now there's at least two of these in Colorado!

Hi all,
I am planning to buy this beautiful shirt on payday (end of the month)
I am 185 cm, 83 kg and I have two IH shirts - both L size.
What would you recommend- which size should I go with this one? I read different opinions here and of course it is a matter of personal preference but still…I am not planning to do layering - I will probably put just a simple cotton T-shirt under this beauty… -
Please send an email to shop@ironheart.co.uk to discuss sizing.

What would you recommend- which size should I go with this one? I read different opinions here and of course it is a matter of personal preference but still…I am not planning to do layering - I will probably put just a simple cotton T-shirt under this beauty…I am 177cm tall and weigh 76kg. I typically buy a Large in most IH shirts. I stuck with that for this one. However, the OD version is smaller than the non-OD version and I also think this one uses a slightly trimmer pattern than past releases. I only wear a T-Shirt underneath and it JUST fits.
The area where you may run into trouble (because you are taller and slightly heavier than I am) is the elbows and overall length. For some reason, the elbows and forearms on this IHSH-293 are pretty darn snug. If you have any mass whatsoever in your arms I would size up to XL. Also, the length is perfect for me, but I wouldn't want it any shorter. Because you are taller is another reason to potentially size up.
I LOVE this shirt, but it definitely runs on the trim side. To see some great fit pics, check out the Withered Fig web site. The model there is 6'1" and 178 pounds. That will give you a good idea of fit...hope that helps!

Thank you, my friend! I really love the fit on this one, quite trim, but just right:)
-
Thank you very much for the detailed info. I will probably also contact the crew to check all measures but so far it seems that XL might be the better option for me
-
I'm your height but 15kg lighter and my L is a reasonably trim fit in chest and shoulders. I'd say XL is the safer bet.
