Was looking about these:

Any experience on these? What do you guys think?

No experience with this brand but I don't like them. It's the heel that kills it for me.

Seems like a lot to pay for a pair of Stan Smith knockoffs.

Have any of you tried the Buzz Rickson shoes? Is there a considerable difference between them an some Chuck Taylors? I'm more of a high tops guy, but I am curious. They look very clean.
I’ve been tempted but never pulled the trigger. History Preservation had the Buzz Rickson tiger striped camo high tops on sale awhile back but I couldn’t bring myself to buy them because I wasn’t sure of my size.

@Paul9221 I've got a pair of Buzz Rickson in a UK size 9. They fit true to size, where as brands such as shoes like pottery and Moonstar I'd have to size down by half a size.
The BR have a different sole construction to those made in Kurume. The construction is similar to chucks. I own a pair a chuck 70s too so have a good comparison. The BR are slightly wider, which suits my feet. The footbed/insole are super comfortable, I find that after a day on my feet, my feet are less fatigued in the BRs.
The colour of the canvas and sole is an ecru off-white, something else I prefer personally over ice white sneakers. I like them, and in summertime I wear them often. Clutch cafe also sell a black and olive drab version. I hope that helps?

Thanks for the report, Stuart, that does help!

Do you know any high quality white sneakers (>300€) that doesn't look like Feit? Not my taste… i'd wear them mainly with barbanapoli and incotex trousers
EDIT: found those:
https://www.greats.com/products/the-royale-blanco-white?view=2
Which aren't very expensive but looks gorgeous, i am questioning about quality, any experience with these?
-
@IronMan I’m not presuming to speak for everyone here, but I have a feeling you may be pitching this to the wrong crowd. Not sure how many of the people here wear Barba Napoli or Incotex. There is generally a more rugged look amongst a lot (but by no means all) Iron Heart fans.
The sneakers most guys wear here will be Chucks, NB or Vans with some Shoes Like Pottery, Buzz Rickson etc thrown in. You have Moonstar also. Possibly Common Projects. TFH and IH have both made sneakers. Most of these brands are making a version of the post war athletic shoe or a simple skate shoe. Check them out by all means.

@neph93 you mean a more biker like look? I am talking here about quality… i wear barba and incotex but i also wear ironheart and samurai jeans... all of them is quality for me. Looking for a sneaker recommendation here cause i know there is a good cultured community here about clothing. I am young and trying to build a good wardrobe both for casual and business. The fact that money are not a problem for me may look out of place almost everywhere but i am just seeking help cause i don't have enough knowledge about brands and things yet. What TFH stands for? Can you please send me some links in private of what you mentioned?
And i replace my question, anyone any experience on these?

@IronMan It’s not an issue of money at all. Nor is it about bikers.
I’m just saying that you may not get much of a response because the clothing you’re referencing and sneakers you ask about aren’t typically discussed here. I may be wrong and there may be others who appreciate that kind of thing but my feeling is there are at best only a few. Please feel free to ask these things and continue to do so by all means, but don’t be surprised if you get a limited response.
I think it is great that you’re combining IH and Samurai with continental fashion labels. Sounds exciting and makes me think of how there’s a lot of combining of Japanese denim with refined streetwear going on in NYC these days. Maybe you’ll inspire others here to do the same.
TFH stands for “The Flat Head”. They have made sneakers in the past but probably not so much now. The other brands I mention will reveal themselves easily with a bit of googling. Good luck!

some of the brands that neph mentioned are great quality sneakers. common projects being one of them similar to the link that you mentioned. i have no experience with those so i can't attest to their quality at all. but if you're looking for a similar shoe. maybe also have a looking into maison margiela's replica range.
also, many brands do the same replica shoe (as they're known) adidas has their gazelles or van's old skool has a somewhat similar silhouette.

Anyone remember Simple from the early 90s? Got a pair today out of nostalgia and ultimately, comfort. They have a memory foam insole. So comfy straight out the box…
