I’m not 1000% sure I can swing it but I’m going to say that the RE denim is fan-flipping-tastic and you’re going to love it.

Not sure if you guys can answer but is this only being released in indigo this year? Not like OD or black/blue? Just trying to plan my expenses
I don’t think there are plans for a blanket lined OD CPO in the works. It would actually be quite hard to do without also overdying the blanket lining. In addition the OD process would fekk up the blanket, and probably melt the sleeve lining. Finally it would be a crazy expensive piece.
An i/b version would be easier but I don’t think there is one in the pipeline.

Yeah, that all makes sense, I just thought I remembered talk of an IB version of this last year.
Thanks, Reuben!

From staff experience would it be safe to say the longer arm measurements balance out the smaller shoulder measurements?
-
How will this denim fade? with high contrast?
Thanks! This thread for the same denim (in the IH-888S-RE cut jeans) should give you a good idea how this denim fades

The staff are all over the world at the minute, but from mod experience, and from Sam’s fit pics, I’d say yes.

So far my pair of 888 is coming out pretty contrasty so I’d say yes. It’s a great denim for sure!

I'm having trouble making sense of the numbers on the fit. I would normally fit something like an XL and while the chest seems fine–-a bit larger than most that come in XL---the shoulders seem particularly narrow (at 17.8). Any ideas, input, suggestions?
-
Chest is more important than shoulders, imo. Go with the XL.

The shoulder measurements are somewhat smaller than is often the case. However the arms are marginally longer, so the sum of the two is the same. The only marginal difference may be that the seam of the shoulder a centimeter narrower than normal.
I’m speculating but I imagine it is a consequence of the lining in the sleeves and the blanket lining in the body all meeting around that area.
I agree with Chris that p2p is more important than shoulder size for attaining the correct fit, and as such I would stick with my normal size in this shirt.

I went TTS. I sized up for the 106 but those had slightly smaller than typical measurements. I reached out to the IH crew and they confirmed they were going with their normal UHF sizes despite the shoulders. The longer arms should even that out as previously mentioned. I’ll let you know when it gets here on Thursday.

Spot on sir, The shirt pictured is an XL and fits great over my (pretty much always XL) shirts and also fits great as a stand alone over a tee.

Here are some fast fit shots. I hope to get some action shots in the wild this weekend…
TTS was the right choice for me. I plan on wearing it as a shirt, not an overshirt. The next size up, a large, would accommodate layering better for me.
If you missed out on the previous versions of blanket lined Westerns this one is a must have.
This Eco Selvedge is some serious shit.
