IHSH-263-NAV - Ultra Heavy Flannel Crazy Check Work Shirt - Navy
-
It is funny what people prefer in westerns and work shirts. On the whole I prefer work shirts in UHF, especially the buffalo checks and ombres. I’m not in for this one, but I find myself unsure. I thought I preferred the western but the pic of @AdamC made me think again. It’s all speculation anyway…

For me the silhouette of the western works well for my body shape but having recently worn my flat head, Mccoys work shirts, I was keen to give this a go especially with the strong colourway.

9/10 I would take the workshirt….always thought western wasn't for me....until I saw this one. I'm a convert. This will be my first non-solid western shirt.

It’s all about personal taste and my conclusion is the amazing pattern and colourway means that both would work for me. I think that is why I’m on the fence here where as normally I have a clear preference.
All that being said I’d be happy if the Xl’s sold out soon as the temptation is real [emoji1]

Out of interest, have you already posted your picks from this AW? Or do you prefer to keep that close to your chest

When it comes to UHF's it would have been this or IHSH-259-RED. As said, I'm undecided with regards to western or work on both. The blue ombre is lovely too. However I'm actually not planning on getting any as I have a focused selection of UHF's that I love already, having sold on a slew of them a few years ago when I realised I had far more than I needed. There were so many UHF's from last season that I loved but I resisted them all. There are too many other things to buy so I try and make a conscious effort to prioritise.
These are the things I really want from FW20. I reckon I'll manage to score two or three of them:
This for sure:
I could also do the black of these if I miss out on the olive:
Again the black one of these is second choice:
And ditto with the black:
-
The green western has been at the top of my list for awhile now.

No that anyone asked but there you go.

I'm totally with you!
My list is similar to Reuben's minus the vest.
Also, not sure if they're going to come out this fall but there were some chambray shirts that looked amazing. Khaki, red, green IIRC.

Like the close-up of that Kersey shirt @neph93. It's one I'm looking out for too. Don't want to hijack this thread, but decided to go for the Western in this style. My first UHF. Good thing R&H are selling them too.

Your first UHF?! Oh man, you're in for a very pleasant surprise

Work shirt arrived! Had a quick try on and surprisingly not as boxy fit as I thought it would be compared with the western. Minor detail, but the sewing of the buttons and finish is better than most of my other brand work shirts (although as Graham mentioned it’s always good skill to learn how to sew buttons back on
Can’t wait for cooler weather!
