It’s a gem for sure.
What ended up on the hanger?? -
Great shirt that 123!
I talked to the artist and will see what kind of bids he can get for the framing. Free art. $1000 frame job
Thank you guys and gals for the input, I think it will largely depend on me measuring out my wall space to really nail it down.

@Anesthetist did the artist have a suggestion?
-
@Matt he is in Portugal atm, but when I hear I’ll post about it

I made it out of his hide!

Ghurka makes beautiful things. I want a new Gearpack but they have gotten very pricey.

Their quality went downhill for a few years when they shifted some production to China but they are back in form and using American and European artisans, saddle stitching, and great leather. I love their designs too for heritage style objects, even if I usually go for more technical materials and builds.
I had a wallet that was bulletproof until I was mugged and it was stolen. They have since discontinued that model and I love my dyneema wallet anyway but I’ve always had great experiences with the brand.
Their garment bag is so nice.

Giving these new shinki Lofgren M43's a try, they should arrive later today

@mclaincausey I was gifted some Ghurka items back in the day (think 80’s which ages me)and they were some of my favorite edc items. Still have the check book cover which never gets used but the leather is so awesome and has such great patina that I can’t part with it. Great pieces…enjoy!

I have the checkbook in black @SKT !
I would love a briefcase and the garment bag, but have little use for the former and probably will wind up with something else for the latter, but I do admire them.
-
What is a checkbook? Well, I sort of know what it is, but have not written a check in about 10 years.....
Interestingly, much of the former soviet bloc never used checks, after the revolution, they went from cash directly to cards/digital. checks were an obsolete notion to an evolving country/financial system in the '90's

A new pair of 21oz 888’s are mine and are soon to be home overdyed. I’m thinking green or navy…
