WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)
-
@Matt if we hadnt been flying to the Caribbean the weekend afterwards, I would have been with you guys at IHUK last year
-
@Matt @tody haha, it was really challenging to drive such a distance. And actually Slovenia is just a two-day stop (although I love everything in Slovenia) on the route to Tuscany in Italy. But I really like those challenging travels and vacations.
Maybe next challenge will be from Sofia (Bulgaria) to Hamburg around 8-10 September…I just have to convince my wife

))) Went to the National Gallery in Washington DC and saw an amazing exhibition on Philip Guston…he may have been a Viberg fan too!
-
Guston is great. Was disappointed that his big show a few years ago got cancelled. Beautiful and incisive paintings.
-
Set the timing of my Italian Mini and give it a tour before the easter lunch
-
@Nik Yeah, totally agree. This was the show that got canceled…not sure what has changed in the past few years…his work definitely hasn’t. The show is great, and there were some surprises in there too. Worth a trip if you can make it!

Today, we went here:
https://www.fortalesalamola.com/en/home
One of the largest forts in Europe, it was simply staggering.....
This is the fort from about 5 miles away.....Yes, it extends the whole width of the photo.....
Nice little sentry box
Even the guard dogs had nice stone built kennels

wow G, that's impressive. Now I have to go to Menorca.
-
@Madame-Buttonfly and I love Menorca. I have been waiting to visit the fort for ages, but because we have been coming out of season, it has not been open before. There's also an English fort, Fort Marlborough that we have yet to visit....
