IRON HEART PARTY - SEPTEMBER 2023 - HAMBURG
-
@Brian I thought you were a citizen, but just checking.
It's probably worth comparing prices for flying into Amsterdam Schiphol, Brussels, and perhaps some of the German hubs like Frankfurt. One time I caught a flight to Paris, then took a short hop over to London or Manchester.
I found flying out of Sydney was quite a lot cheaper than Melbourne last year, but I'm between them in Regional Victoria.
Lastly, the multi-destination flights on Qantas aren't too bad. I flew Sydney-SF-London last year, and it was cheaper that way than trying to stitch my own itinerary together using Skyscanner.

@goosehd koln is lovely. can vouch for that.
I'll second that.
You're also close to Amsterdam, and the Netherlands is really easy to get around by train.

@DrPat
The "Scandic" is also only a 5 minute walk from the shop and makes a good impression.

@Iron-Heart-Germany I've added the Scandic to the list I made near the top of the thread.
Just note that this one is a few minutes further from the Reeperbahn

We at Iron Heart Germany are very pleased to be able to host the 21st anniversary celebration in Hamburg. We're particularly excited about our first Iron Heart shirt collaboration, the Limited Edition Slub Yarn Check Heavy Flannel Western Shirt - IHSH-IHG-BLK. More details will follow.
The IHT-IHG#5 - Iron Heart Germany 7.5oz Loopwheel Black & White Crew Neck T-Shirt will be released this weekend along with some other specials too.
Stay tuned, it's going to be awesome! Or as we prefer to say here, es wird geil!On Friday evening we start with a light warm-up and after work you have the opportunity to have a beer with the Japan team around Haraki-San, Paula, Giles, Alex and some IHUK members and us. Saturday is the big party and we will party and drink all day and all night, from the afternoon Giuli will spoil you with Italian delicacies and a special barbecue. Sunday, if you like, we'll meet again in the shop for a small breakfast and good coffee. Full details will be announced, but for now this is the rough schedule.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in Hamburg in September!

sounds like fun!

@Iron-Heart-Germany Who will be responsible for the beer? I can connect you with the nice folks from Kehrwieder Kreativbrauerei...

I forgot to mention one very important thing and I'm a bit embarrassed that I forgot it in the rush, but Paula and Giles are both coming to Hamburg and will celebrate with us. It's just great to have everyone from the UK here, we really appreciate that. Many thanks for this great support!
