I've spent the last 40 years or so, doing whatever I could to ensure I watched a Grand Prix live on TV. If I could not watch it live, I would do my utmost to make sure I did not hear the result, and then watch a recording (once upon a VHS time) or replay later in the day. It was the only TV programme, I have ever scheduled what I was doing around.
Now, I just cant be bothered to waste my time. If I happen to be doing nothing whilst it is on, I may switch the TV on, but frankly I'd rather be mowing the lawn, than watching the farcical charade it has become.
I'd still love Hamilton to win an 8th title, just because.

I actually recorded it... Actually let me fucking rewind a fucking bit... I actually pay extra each month for a digital TV subscription JUST to watch F1... I don't watch anything else, and I'm not even exaggerating...
So I recorded the GP... I actually got up at around 7am but didn't watch it til 10PM... Lo and behold: it had dragged out so much it went overtime and IT DIDN'T RECORD THE LAST 10 MINUTES... I had been avoiding the news all fucking DAY to make sure I didn't see the result by accident, now I had to revert to looking up the end bloody result of the bloody thing...
What a shit show... As they say in Australia: fuck me running!

Me too.....

I enjoyed the race but it was an odd one
-
I turned on the telly just at the moment the second red flag came out. have to say that was a weird call.
-
And Ocon his pitsstop was amazing as well

Checo on pole in Miami after a Leclerc crash stops the final laps. Karen Horner looks like he is being sick in his mouth trying to praise Checo.. it is so obvious he wants Max to win they should just run one car maybe Karen (Grumpy Spice) can make Checo do Max's laundry or something..
-
I like this starting grid. Spicy weekend!
-
looks like Miami is quite the tricky track yet again.. none of the cars and drivers seem well settled doing laps.
-
@mclaincausey 100% spicy! Would love to see Alonso fighting with Checo first lap and I reckon K-Mag will dive bomb Sainz.
-
max going straight through the pack as he expects everyone to give him space at the start
-
I was hoping for a more dramatic overtake but we enjoyed the race. Made a pit wall and tuned into Alonso’s cockpit.
-
the way Max overtook the haas and Ferrari while Charles struggled to get past the haas has set the tone for the rest of the season. kudos to Alonso for perching himself right up there with the red bulls..
-
@mclaincausey That is a pretty slick way to watch the race!
-
@louisbosco that was a bold overtake for sure! Excellent drive and strategy!
-
It was fun @goosehd if a bit tricky to synchronize. Only way to do it moving forward!
