threats of a brisk drubbing work too

Fucking local drug dealers are using my doorstep as a pick-up and drop-off point for one of their number again. Thought we'd seen the last of them after we reported a suspect vehicle parked next to my house last year, which turned out to be stolen, and led to a police chase when the police turned up to seize it just as the dealers were getting back into it.
I don't particularly give a monkey's about the drug-dealing per se - they've never bothered anyone in our neighbourhood - but there's clearly a reason they don't want to park at one of their own houses, and I'd rather a rival gang didn't spot the car, put two and two together to reach five, and conclude that me or my neighbours are their rivals.

I might do something like this to the spot where they park. It seems to have been effective:

@Matt No idea. They don't generally do the deals outside my house. I had a peek in the back of the car once and saw empty canisters of nitrous oxide (laughing gas) on the floor of the car. I've seen them meet up with someone on foot then all hop a nearby fence and disappear behind some trees with a toolbox, and could overhear them opening and shutting it a few times on one occasion.

Just got harassed on the walk home by some drunken woman demanding I rolled down my 'Tesco Turn-Ups' (cuffed denim, for those not familiar with the nuances of British insults).
I said 'nah, this is how I like them' and she got gradually more aggressive towards the fact I wasn't rising to her comments, and proceeded to power walk/limp behind me in broken high heels yelling 'WHY ARE YOU WEARING ALL DENIM!?'
I eventually outpaced my pursuer, and made it home in one piece.
Stay safe out there folks haha

Went to Iron Heart Osaka. It was pretty cool

I’ve also gotta add that I’m a huge fan of samurai jeans, especially their T-shirt’s but going to their head store was totally underwhelming. The staff that was there were total snobs and acted like they were annoyed at everyone for being there. Iron Heart Osaka however were so welcoming and kind

Today's my turn for travel misery.
I'm booked onto a 5:15 am flight from Melbourne to Manchester via Dubai, but I'm currently living three hours from the airport.
On the train down, I check my flight details and find my seat has been deallocated. The only seats left are a couple on the exit row, with a $210 upcharge.
I call the airline's helpline, and the girl tells me that I can either pay the upcharge, or get to the airport early and speak with staff there. But when I arrive at the airport, I find that there isn't a help desk and I have to wait for check-in to open at around 2 am.
