IH-888-XHSib - 25oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans - Ind/blk

@nrtphotos You are talking about two different denims and two different ways that they need to be treated.
The UHR needs to be pre-soaked and washed in order to set the stitching to prolong the longevity…
The XHS only needs to be pre-soaked prior to wash in order to prevent marbling. I often have taken my XHS from the bag and worn them until dirty. When it comes time to clean, the best way to prevent marbling and/or streaking is to pre soak inside out and then wash as normal.

Some strong cases here for not cuffing. Thinking about hemming my SBG now. Hmm…

The first days/steps in this denim! First time in a 888 and dig the relaxed overall fit!

@68degreesorless those look amazing! Too warm to wear mine but looking to give em a beating in the fall/winter
-
Thanks @atm23! They will accept your beating and grant you softness and beauty in return
-
Well done @68degreesorless and agreed with @atm23, they're looking awesome! Still trying to squeeze out some wears on my pair as California warms up.
-
Few months in they start to give the first signs of the things to come.

When will these get a restock?

It was the first IH shirt I bought from eBay a while back. Still one of my favorites after buying 20+ more. The fabric is aging beautifully and the fit is spot on for my taste.

Aye, same here, need these…

UGH I am super bummed out about the paint on these jeans. I was painting all day Sunday and was super in the zone. I knew I had got some acrylic paint on my right knee, but woke up to a fuckton more than I realized was there. I then tried isopropyl alchohol and a rag, which fucked them up even more (even after knowing the risk involved). I also tried baking soda mixed with water and that didn't so shit but get the solution caked onto it. After a hose down, I am left with this. Totally bummed and feel I ruined them even more when I guess I couldn have just left them. I have been moping a lot about it. Anyone on here able to tell me I'm not a huge idiot and I should/could still wear them?
Edit: FWIW my wife thinks I'm wrong for caring about it. She's just happy I'm painting again. Tells me to own it and stop being a pu**y about it.

@Oaktavia Ouch! I feel your pain as it's akin to getting the first scratch on a new pair of boots but I agree with your wife on owning it. Roll with it and make them your new "gettin' shit done" jeans and use them for yard work, house work, painting, etc. and they'll probably end up better for it.
Worse case scenario, you could snag another pair on the impending restock and given your track record, you could probably have a new pair equally worn-in in no time!

@SonnyTheElder thanks for the hype my dude. I'm feeling a bit better about it. Plus, now I can keep wearing my XHSmb more often. Definitely have my eyes on that restock but not sure.
