This is the motivation I need.

These jeans stink so bad. I can't take it anymore at 98 days. I wanted to make it to 100 days but I am getting a tattoo on my thigh tomorrow and won't be wearing dirty jeans over a new tattoo anyway. Plus it's 90+ outside the next few days. It just seems obvious that it is time. Longest I've never gone this long without a proper machine wash. Interestingly enough, at nearly 100 wears, these are absolutely the slowest faders I have worn. They're in the machine now. Dried photos in a few days.

@Oaktavia it just gets better every time. The fabric just keeps on giving.

@Oaktavia I was expecting this to happen. Nothing like a proper machine wash to get rid off the already loose particles from stress areas.
But mostly I’m mesmerized by the coin pocket photos. The way the warp looks there under tension, the geometry of it. -
@Oaktavia
looking good no matter the light -
@Mizmazzle hahaha good eye my guy. I actually had two of them made. It was set up by a prior admin I think like 7 or 8 years ago. I tried to get them to do them again but just the two so far. Maybe I'll advocate for one this year. I held a Vincent van Gogh book in one and Fellowship the Ring on the other.

@Oaktavia did you notice any significant stretch in the waist after wearing yours for so long without a wash?

I wear my jeans one or two sizes too big so I don't know.

Right on… just grabbed a pair. Actual measurements are under tag size, just curious if they will let up at all. Anyone that runs them tight have any experience with these?
