@louisbosco that was a bold overtake for sure! Excellent drive and strategy!
-
It was fun @goosehd if a bit tricky to synchronize. Only way to do it moving forward!

It still is funny how so many ppl had the time of their lives watching Mercedes dominating the sport for seven (7!) years in a row with two cars and now after one year of a single car dominance and this year a sort of two car dominance that the sport has gone to waste, tables can turn quickly I guess.
-
The most funny part is that all the changes the teams had to make were all part of the FIA plan to make things more fair, exciting and that take-overs should be more easy. I think it went in the complete other direction. And the FIA tries everything like those stupid 4 in a weekend races. The changes shouldn’t been made.. if you really want a more close competition then you give every team the same car, same engine etc. then things really lay in the hands of the driver. RB has build a insane fast car and they have total dominance. Also maybe not a popular opinion around here but Max is a great driver imo. Ferrari has had there dominating years, mercedes the same and now RB. And let’s not forget the championships Vettel had won with RB so RB doesn’t come falling completely out of the sky. They know what they’re doing.

Pirelli: at Monaco the lifespan of a medium tyre is 30 to 38 laps.
Max: at Monaco the lifespan of a medium tyre is 56 laps.Alltough the qualifying is the one to watch @ Monaco this time also the race was something special. Being a Max fan I would have appreciated a P1 for Alonso but Max was just too fast, Ocon on P3 was amazing too, what a weekend it was....
-
Fantastic weekend and best Quali I have seen (but pretty new to the sport). Even if they’d gotten inters right Max was gonna be tough.
-
Max keeps on showing that he owns the car and with that the sport.. although i’m a Max fan i hope things will get more exciting and more close. But for now it is good!
-
Alonso changing for mediums as it started raining and Max' reaction to that was priceless...
Anyone else watching Bottas as the weather changed? Tip: if that fella changes to intermediates, no matter whàt the weather forecast is, know it WILL rain... He was the first one to pit and I immediately knew it was gonna be pretty bad... Lo and behold...
-
Martin Brundle's grid walks are legendary! Was an 'easy' one today - no crazy 'celebs' - but still fun
-
Shit quali.
Russell is still a tosser. Surprised no penalty for the pit lane shenanigans.
Only hope is Max “turns in to” George at lap 1 turn 1
-
Man I hate George Russell. Two weeks in a row with that bitch move blocking the pit lane. So unsporting. They’re going to need to address this in the rules.
So excited by Ferrari sandbagging all along and then posting those laps when they needed them. Please please don’t cock it up! I would love a double podium for them and a win for either of their drivers but especially poor Leclerc.
Happy for Danny as well. With AT using the same car as RBR next season he will be dangerous if he’s got his mojo back.
Gutted for Lando.
I think today is going to be spicy!
-
ferrari has got quali pace but not race pace. if only the race was only 1 lap..
-
Yeah that’s it. Poor Charles
-
I was bummed to see Checo take himself out with that over-excited goof up in the first corner. Seeing Ricciardo put on a good race made up for it though. And Lando absolutely killed it.
-
This dude out here making Lewis go “too far, bro. Too far” in his airport traffic director outfit in size: Frost Giant.
Insufferable opening ceremony. Hope the race doesn’t suck but not betting on that.
-
I think they have bigger issues to worry about. Like working out whether this is sport or entertainment.....
Problems with manhole covers at the Las Vegas Grand Prix track are "just unacceptable", Ferrari team boss Frederic Vasseur says.
First practice was cancelled after just nine minutes when Carlos Sainz hit a manhole cover that had come loose.
Esteban Ocon's Alpine was damaged in the same way before the session was cut short.
Vasseur said Sainz's car had a damaged chassis, engine and battery and would miss the second session if it happened.
Having said that, I will be forever grateful to Liberty Media for giving me back my weekends.....
-
Sounded like the Vegas track was an ice rink for practice too. Cold, rainy, fresh oily pavement. Now they have obstacles like manholes. This weekend will be like MarioKart. Hopefully it dries up and everyone stays safe so we can forget about that cringe-fest of a opening ceremony.
-
What is the rationale for a 10 place grid penalty for Sainz after the track attacked his car?
-
@mclaincausey WHAT?! now I gotta look this up. that sounds bogus.
