Berlin (DE)

The most lucid article I've read on Berlin in a long time, I should think of interest also to potential visitors…..you may want to come sooner rather than later.....
-
Walking past Stetson on my way back to DC4: “That’s a nice bag you have there”
stops and turns
conversation about VMC
“You should visit 14 oz, it’s owned by the same guy as Stetson. They have Real McCoy”
makes beeline for 14 oz
Almost bought so many pieces in the sale, settled on a pair of socks.

Who all’s in Berlin? We will be visiting April 20-28 if anyone wants to hang. Or give me some pointers.
-
Im here in Berlin — I could sure meet up with you and get some drinks/food or see some cool areas.
April is still a ways out -
Amazing @dinobarnesberlin ! I’ll hit you up. Staying across from Brandenburg Gate.
-
Good central spot---always good to meet up with fellow " Ami's "
Weather should be nice by then as well.
Just give me a sign -
@dinobarnesberlin will be around soon—I’ll drop a line in a couple of days. I have had no time to plan this thing and only have bookmarked DC4 and Burg & Schild. Completely shameful
-
@mclaincausey Try to go to the Merz B Schwanen Shop. It’s a beautiful little store.
-
@Dmart whaaaa?! Of COURSE I’ll do that love them! Thanks for the tip.
-
@mclaincausey And don’t forget to have a currywurst.
-
@mclaincausey wow April rolled around quick! Sure man, sounds like you have all of the main spots to hit on your list. Could meet up for a drink or a bite to eat.
Just give me a sign -
im sure a local will have better advice, and not sure if it's still as good as it once was, but they converted an old public toilet into a burger place under the tracks at Schliesisches Tor that was fun. Then you can walk across the Oberbaum Brucke to see the river/bridge/molecule men/etc. Otherwise, depending on your preferences and what you normally have available local to you, get some currywurst and/or a doener kebab. I recall really like k'ups and Ruyam near the Eberswalder Str U-Bahn.
