Count me in!

Love this but already have so much red
-
@Ross The first picture refers to the work shirt - not to the western version.
Does IH Germany market this shirt as well?
-
@Mickey-GT They are only taking the work shirt. Updated the pic cheers

Is it just me or is the sizing in a lot of UHF’s trending towards wider with longer sleeves? Hasn’t been anything in FW23 that will fit me well as a tall skinny guy.
-
@nrtphotos i havent analysed the charts, but the general view at IHUK is the opposite of this, if anything we are sizing up more than anything
-
@Alex yeah, I have to size up to get length in the body but then get killed by the P2P and sleeve length, I’m 6’4 and the 27.5+ sleeves are too long! Wish there was another inch in the length of the body so I didn’t have to size up, oh well. Just seems like most XXL’s now are wider chest and longer sleeves - I look like a belly dancer in XL’s. The red/blue ombré western that I really liked this year was listed as 28 something sleeves in an XXL, too long even for someone my height.
I’ll cross my fingers for FW24 flannels fitting me better, let me spend more money with you guys!

I LOVE the extra long sleeves fwiw. Better for motorcycles

You can always try hot washing and get some shrinkage, that said you risk shrinking the length at that point too.
I am in the same boat being a taller slimmer guy and my MO since I started with IH has been to size up to a XXL to get the body/sleeve length I need. An IH old timer said something along time ago that always stuck with me, unfortunately with clothing produced on this scale, sizing will always be a compromise given the measurements are not custom to everyone’s individual frame. Some shirts I have feel like they were made for me, others have areas that are a bit loose depending on how they were sewn up given that they are made by humans which allows for variances. This is especially true if you have an outlier build (ie, like you and I, taller and slimmer).
So I doubt there will be drastic changes in FW of 24 measurements as IH has really nailed down consistency in terms of measurements (back in the day there could be very noticeable variances between shirts of the same season) and your best bet would be to decide which compromise works best for you or find a way to alter measurements (hot washing, taking to a tailor, etc) -
@WhiskeySandwich I worked at a dealer for many years up until very recently and am also very tall, I still think they are too long lol.

I think they should be the same shrinkage. Measurements pre shrink was from IH crew so i had to convert from inches to cm.

I’m happy the 4XLs are trending wider but I’m hesitant to buy any more UHFs because the body is always on the short side for me and it only gets shorter with regular washing.
I’m really tall so I’m sure I’m an outlier.

First time I would fit in a medium better then large. Don't see 22" ptp in a medium often.
