There’s no specific science but in my experience the XHS was faster fading then the regular 21oz. But no time pressure just wear and tear

@Zander76 Just give them a hot soak, if you wear these without soak they will shrink with first wash and your fades etc are in another place when you wear them again.... Wich doesn't look great and yes, first few wears are hard, especially button up

@Fades-for-future yup, these will 100% shrink enough to notice and best to remove it all before wearing. Unless you prefer fades that shift around so you have double fades. Commitment to this yield unique results, but not usually sought after.

Ok, after soaking my first 25 oz the fit is great now. The waist was a bit loose, but after 1h relax in hot water it shrank about 1,5cm and it is just right now. The butt area lost it’s diaper look what was the most important for me. And yes, I struggled with the buttons for a while, but the pliers helped me to win. Cant wait to wear them.

@Zee-Boo sounds like you have it down. 25oz is amazing denim, it is rewarding to wear it each time.
