Yes exactly. But that is Euro 800 and is not yet available. I have the anchor buoy, I just need to sort out the comms....
I just found that seller in UK when looking for the link. I spent all fucking weekend searching for a UK seller with no joy, so bought it from an Italian website....
Damn

@Giles sweet buoy!
Im afraid that You are pioneering the anchor buoy approach. Their thing seems to be the only plug and play on the market sharing that approach. Everyone else seems to go for the boat-GPS-in-the-predefined-circle solution. I guess there can be some LoRa components to do the job, but the programing, and making the enclosure for it seaworthy is going to be a nightmare. Remarkably interesting and exploratory project but it might be nothing practical at the end. -
Giving it a nice strobe or normal light is going to be great, and yea being avant-garde limits the option. I was surprised as You when I could not find anything else. There is still option to see how visionanchor will do after the release, and if it's not a disaster maybe that 800EUR is not too outrageous for an end-to-end solution with an app.

And if You want to go at the LoRa path here is an example - https://www.instructables.com/LoRa-GPS-Tracker/
Attaching this kit to light and the buoy and restricting the geofencing should be more accurate for the anchor movement compared to the whole boat. -
@Tago-Mago I see it now

It's leather, does not come uniform.....
Not the Leather G the Print , Design doesn’t seam so defined. It’s really faint in places was just wondering if it’s been altered.

@gazza61 99% sure that it’s US Army insignia. @WhiskeySandwich may be able to confirm.
Just double checked and the crossed rifles is US Army Infantry.

dang, lost another post to glitch....retry...
I know OD jeans are just regular indigo/white that have taken a hot dye bath, but do they generally come from the same batch as the indigo? Is there like a double size batch of indigo ordered then it's split and some are OD'ed and sold as such? What i'm getting at: if they're from the same batch, could the OD be assumed to have stated as the same measurements as the indigo? Could one assume the end result of stretch would end up around the same as a non-OD'ed pair? I ask because, at least for the 888s-142od, the waist measurements are about an inch smaller. Just curious how these things work out.

Yes, exactly

Yes

That's a fair assumption, but obviously exact stretch is down to the wearer...
