IHSH-363-NAV - 10oz Organic Chambray Work Shirt - Navy Blue
-
@WhiskeySandwich good to hear. Yeah the texture is amazing I think. I’ll try to do a before after measurement and start with a warm wash and dry. It’s such a great color in person too.
-
@SKT the texture is awesome and I’m sure washing will make it even more so. I do like the color, but if it starts lightening up to a baby blue I was thinking of doing a rit gray just lightly. Keep us posted on your shrink results. I was going easy as I was afraid of overdoing it.
-
I think this capture the texture pretty well
-
wasn’t expecting it to turn the water so purple! First handwash
-
Got this in today. Already gave it a warm soak and quick warm dry to bring down the sizing some. Spring kind of came and went already but hopefully can wear this anytime we dip into the low 70s or below
-
@iammortalcombat How much did it go down with the drying? Significantly or just a little? And did you wash/dry alone or with other clothes?
-
@jevans41 Ive been washing mine hot in the machine and doing hot dry every wash, barely any shrinkage. Holding color also, despite turning the water colors
-
@WhiskeySandwich just did mine on warm/warm and got noticeable shrinkage, especially in the arms (at least .5 inch) and chest.
-
@jevans41
Actually came in right around the same measurements as my other xxxl work shirts. I would not hot wash/hot dry if you want to keep it from shrinking at all -
@pechelman mine has stayed very crispy after the initial wash and a few wears. Much more so than my 13 IIRC This one is a different beast altogether
-
@SKT how would you describe the 363 and the 13 in terms of breathability and for high temps? I'm still looking for a summer shirt that's a little lighter than my 62 and 380...
-
@FlavourFade I feel like the weave and weight of both shirts limits their summer wearability. For instance, I wore mine over a thin T yesterday in full sun at around 70° and got pretty warm. I run pretty hot though. By comparison , the 5 oz dobby cloth from last season is perfect for higher temps I think. Hope this helps!
-
@SKT thanks a lot! So no difference there between the two.
-
@FlavourFade not so far for me. I’ve had the 13 much longer and worn it more but they seem very similar as far as performance in heat to me.
Also, any of the madras shirts would work well in the warmer months as an alternative too.
-
@SKT thanks again! I really dig a chambray since I had one from benzak which suddenly was too small, happened over night
So maybe I try to make it work and take the gamble...
-
@Crease Anyone know what jacket Brendan is wearing here? Fades look like 21oz, but appears to have brass buttons? Or maybe they're just rusted iron?
-
@Alex good morning! You’re up quite early (assuming you’re physically in the UK…)! This is the one I was referencing!
