Our short sleeved western shirt cut, made from 7oz cotton poplin fatigue cloth. Worn by military personnel when performing non-combat based duties, ‘fatigues’ were designed to be very breathable items of clothing which allowed for freedom of movement, while still offering the durability required for army life. Inspired by these vintage fabrics, our 7oz fatigue cloth is an ideal utilitarian choice for a summer shirt - both lightweight and hardwearing with a classic heritage appearance.

Great looking shirt, but those measurements look huuuge compared to other western cuts. Is it intentionally a more relaxed fit?

@michaelrmullane Haraki would have sampled it, checked measurements pre and post a wash and adjusted the pattern accordingly. As always, there is never a guarantee that works out in practice - that's why we do product specific charts.
