Buying My Buddy a Gift...Surprise, It's Denim!!
-
@Mizmazzle absolutely nailed it. Might as well add “carny fit guesser” to the resume
-
You’ve done a lovely job @Mizmazzle
-
What an great friend you are @Mizmazzle !!
-
Well done @Mizmazzle the fit looks great. I hope your friend enjoys them.
-
@Mizmazzle this whole project is a real testament to your friendship and I’m in awe of the work you put in to find the “perfect” fit for his first pair. Hope he enjoys them for years to come. And congrats to him on his upcoming nuptials!
-
Thanks again everyone for the kind words and very helpful advice along the way here. I’ll be sure to keep the thread updated as he makes progress in his Iron Heart 888s…he’s already eyeballing the fades on my jeans like life goals for his own Haha.
In the wise words of @twin ”Wear ‘em a lot!!”
-
@Mizmazzle sounds like you’ve got him hooked!
-
@Mizmazzle That's all it takes. Wear & tear.
-
@Mizmazzle congrats to your mate! Are you going to hem for still a single cuff or "no break" fit?
-
@FlavourFade think we gave him a bit of extra length so he can single cuff if he wants. Thought process was, “better to go a little long than a little too short.”
-
@Mizmazzle great idea! I'm tending to prefer the no cuff little break Look more and more the last time but always have a pair to cuff and show of this selvedge ID
-
@FlavourFade I’m a no cuff guy myself. Like a nice bit of break for moderate stacking.
-
Bonus points for me is that my girlfriend likes the no cuff look a lot more because she thinks big cuffs look like "BossHoss" (a weird german band which does something like biker country music but not in a -too me- cool way)
