Agreed, as I feel like if I lose waist size it will be a big jump to get the same proportions in a 888.
Jump down to an 35” 888XHS
Also don’t want the diaper butt I was getting with the N&F cut.
The measurements do seem to differ between fabrics though, so I’m planning ahead and taking notes on what to jump on in future releases before they sell out.Fun and addictive hobby.

@MassiveThighs I hope you’ll be very happy with your new jeans. Now just wear em hard and don’t look back!

@boutsk I think those look great! You have a nice slim silhouette but still looks like you have room for movement and comfort.
Thighs, waist, and length will come in with a wash. Waist will stretch back out...thighs and length will not.
It looks like you could come in on the thighs some, but that may lose you a bit of the easy comfort you have now. 888 is the perfect solution for thigh comfort but still a slim taper. 888 is my favorite cut. So easy to wear and look great!
Thanks. I like everything except from the rear excess fabric. Of course it is still stiff but I can see that there's more fabric there compared with my other well fitted jeans.
I'm gonna wear them during fall/winter so I will gain 2-3 kg, but I wonder if a very hot soak followed by a machine wash (gentle cycle) will fix this. -
I personally have bought iron heart jeans that were a little in the tight side to begin with and some that were slightly roomier to begin with and have found while the roomier ones were of course more comfortable off the bat, after a bit of wear the tighter pair always look and fit better and the roomier ones just end up too baggy for me……but of course it’s all personal taste, but that’s just my two cents!

I'd like to do the same. I had a bad experience with my first selvedge pair (a Momotaro that never stretched due the tight wave). So next time I'd ordered a more comfortable pair of Samurai that ended up baggy. Already listed them for sale, I may look for a tighter fit.

@boutsk how do you feel the thigh is? If you think you can afford for that to tighten up and stay that way, then give the wash thing a go.
I always start with a cold wash first. See how that works out. If I’m looking for more then I go to a warm wash….then finally if I need extreme results go with a hot wash.

Thighs will be ok even if tightened up. Maybe back rise will be ok with a hot soak, but I don't know if this will be permanent. My 25 oz Samurai (unsanforized and unwashed) were perfect after a warm soak and a cold machine wash but after 1-2 months waist, back and front rise and thighs returned to pre-soak measurements

Can’t thank @seawolf enough for making this custom piece for me. My tool pouch has been doing some right damage to my XHS . After a Top repair job done by Josh I wanted something to protect that area of constant rubbing while wearing my tool vest in work . Gave Zach some rough measurements and he kindly made this for me it’s spot on mate thank you .

@Jcaz6996 dude, how do you keep them so clean with a 'dirty job'? I've found compressed air to be pretty effective for debris, is that your trick? sick fades
