Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
-
@Darth-fader IH used to make black duck, I wish that would make a comeback. Black duck bibs especially...
-
@tody @Darth-fader not sure if I’m ready for bibs but definitely with you on black/other colour ducks!

I would love it if some of the 'duck' items were also available in grey (the jeans especially)......no idea if it's possible, but it would be fantastic
+1
Great idea @Darth-fader

I'd be up for a true super slim taper cut. The 555 is my favorite fit. The 777 was my first and the rise looked terrible on me but the bottoms were pretty good. If I was a 30 waist the 555 would be tapered enough(your models would agree with me) but at 38 the hems are to much. The idea of paying $100 to taper my $400 jeans (x3...) is daunting. But I guess I'd be buying them again if you made them.... So I'm saving money? Maybe I'm the only one. Also I've only been around IH for a few years..Did this get tried and fail? Pic is how I feel wearing them just a little over the top.

@CosmoSix5 see point 4 from this post by Alex:
-
@Tago-Mago I clicked and must have miscommunicated lol. Boot cut are worse lol. And the low rise is why I sold my 777's.
Or were you focused on Alex saying "no more cuts atm" -
@CosmoSix5 Focus on the no more cuts part. Alex recently mentioned the strained production capacities in the 727-KHA thread as well as on a number of other occasions, so highly unlikely that there will be another new cut in addition to the one mentioned
-
@Tago-Mago the more I think about it my posts point about the "saving money" by getting tailored instead of replacing great condition denim holds true. I think I'll try first with my 14oz 555ib
-
@CosmoSix5 I have jeans that I love everything in the cut but how it tapered from the knees down. If you're lucky you can find an awesome seamstress who can taper them from the knees down to the hem and also have them hem the length for you at the same time. Having jeans tailored to your liking is well worth the money

Was there ever any thought of doing a 21 oz cpo? Or is the fabric too thick for a cpo style?
-
21oz for a shirt would be a little extreme. Unless you were wanting to wear it more as a jacket, but even in that case you may be better off getting a 21oz Type I/II/III

Seen the upcoming 21oz sashiko shirt yet?
-
@chrisjohnnick I’m guessing this is in relation to the upcoming 397, and looking to other iterations in the same weight?
-
@tody Snap!
-
@Jakederoche I'd say "possible" as the new sashiko shirt coming soon also weighs in at 21oz.
-
@tody @Mister_Brue I was assuming they meant 21oz as in the traditional weave. The Sashiko is in nature going to feel a lot softer right off the bat than those.
-
@chrisjohnnick Yes, I get you. I guess a 21oz CPO would just be pushing the boundaries of the 17/18/19oz versions we have seen though, and I’m sure people would jump on it. Are we not here for the extreme?
-
My feelings is that the 18 ounce vintage fabric almost feels heavier than the flagship 21 ounce so I figured if it worked for for the 18 oz it might work for the 21 oz But I suppose my perception might be off. The weight Factual weight doesn’t lie. I just absolutely love how soft the 21 ounce fabric becomes overtime.
-
@Jakederoche It would be awesome to see, no doubt.

With the upcoming IH-526J-SBG release, hoping for the vest version of this to be added for a future makeup.
