Any Mildlife fans out there?
This is their new one and I bought the record as soon as the last song ended. Automatic is another incredible album I bought the record to instantly as well.https://open.spotify.com/album/61vxUvosI96p5brDcwJpUS?si=1u4w4N8pTVSW426Rl17Yvg

@endo I flat out love The MC5,and was fortunate to have seen them live, and I really, really wanted to like that, but I couldn’t get through any of the songs they put out in advance. They had their long overdue induction into the stupid Rock n Roll Hall of Fame last night, and unfortunately none of them are alive. Do you think I should give it another chance?

@Jett129 that's why I'm asking. Thought you'd seen them in their great days, and I acknowledge and love their 60s/early 70s stuff and the impact it had on other bands. But what does it to their legacy to do another record that late? I don't know. Just heard it once, guess I have to listen more often into it. I do like the fact that Tom Morello and Slash are participating. But I'm not convinced.

@endo I thought your post might be directed at me,but when you didn’t tag me I thought you were putting it out there for everyone. When they did the 50th Anniversary tour I didn’t go to that, because I just want to keep my memories of the band intact. I guess Wayne had some material and I’m sure that there was no shortage of musicians wanting to play with him,and he was keeping The MC5 alive,so to speak. Don’t think it would have garnered as much interest/attention if it was just a Wayne Kramer solo album.

I cannot stop listening to this:

Just thought I’d throw this up here for any Matthew Sweet fans. He had a stroke on tour and needs help.

@goosehd damn, sad to hear that.
Always felt kind of alone here in the UK as a fan of the dead, but watching films/reading about their story and sporadically speaking to folks I'd met at dead tribute shows in London, it was easy to feel like you knew each member of the band...
Fare thee well.
