Hi All
I managed to grab the all black IH N1 deck from Rivet & Hide on release. As suspected all sold out now in most popular sizes in the UK.
I managed to grab a size large after trying on the medium and feeling like my movement was quite limited, couldn't get my arms over my head comfortably and when I put my hands in the pockets my elbows stuck out like I was impersonating a duck. I did manage to try it on with a tshirt and jumper and it did look very snug but I certainly could get it zipped up, although it did make my movement even more restricted. I’m 5’10 /177 cm and weigh 78kg / 172 lbs. I have quite broad shoulders and thick arms and chest (40”-41”) for my height.
However, now I’m wondering should I have got the medium as I am under the impression these should fit quite snug. But, how snug is too snug, are we talking to the point of not having full range of movement? Should I have just got the medium and hope that it loosens up a little after some wear. The only issue is probably just the length and being a little long on the arms. Any advice as I may have option to get the medium still.

why not ask this in the linked thread? got any fit pics so that we can better help you?
…anyway, based on your description alone: no. you should stick with the Large you got. dont think there is much hope of these loosening up after some wear, given that they are lined (x2) and face is made of whipcord.

@Boit
Thank you.I’ll delete it and ask in the correct post.

If I'm looking to layer underneath this, would you all recommend my standard UHF size? I'm a large in the UHF workshirts and Westerns. Thanks

@samo I typically take large in westerns, 22" P2P and 18" shoulder measurements are about perfect for me and the large of this fits nicely over the top. As always though you are best off measuring a similar jacket you already own and comparing to the sizing chart. Hope that helps
