@Mizmazzle no idea but judging from the pic it could be
-
@Mizmazzle Ahh…I remember that. Yeah he’s “relaxed” himself into retirement
-
Aaron Rodgers is insufferable. His lack of accountability is unacceptable in the role and his skipping of training camp to do an ayahuasca retreat or whatever the hell he was doing is looking really bad now.
Uses to respect him, now I’m hoping for maximum humiliation (benching, then release).

I totally concur with all that's been said, about Rodgers, and even though I'd given up on The Jets long ago,I eventually, thought, they might actually pull this off. I had a few Jet fan friends, who were extremely negative on Rodgers coming to the Jets,as was I,but I eventually, fell for it hook line and proverbial sinker. I feel like the person who's been kidnapped, but keeps getting in the van.

Week 14 of the NFL season gets under way tonight, and while there's a highly contentious/compelling match up tonigh but,the only matchup we care about this entire weekend is the one between @Mizmazzle and @IrishHeart,who has his IrishHeart set on the Eagles beating the Panthers. Mizmazzle is hoping that two divisional rivals(Chiefs/Chargers) beat each other up with the hated Chiefs coming out victorious. Good luck to both of you!
-
@Jett129 I think @IrishHeart may have the edge this week haha.
-
@Mizmazzle I would think that if the Panthers give the Eagles the kind of game they gave the Chiefs a few weeks ago,it would make me feel better, in the thought that the,Chiefs beat a legitimate team when they played them.
-
Looking forward to tonight’s game, thanks for the write-up @Jett129!
The only Lions loss this year so far was the game I picked them for the survival pool….

Like some of you,I was not able to get on the site since Friday. I was definitely panicked at the thought of what if I can’t get on the football thread on Monday. Here we go…The Panthers go into the city of brotherly love, and there was definitely no love lost between these two teams,as the Carolina Panthers stayed with the Eagles right up till the end. And while I couldn’t actually see the game I was following the score and once again it was a lot more exciting because of our Pool. In the end The Eagles hold on and @IrishHeart gets his tenth, can you believe it,straight win. And as I usually say, when someone hits on The Eagles for a win, IrishHeart is singing Fly Eagles Fly! I know that it’s quite popular to say that the NFL has The Chiefs games rigged, they want The Chiefs to win etc.,but at this point after last night’s win over The Los Angeles Chargers,it has to be divine intervention. The Chiefs shut The Chargers out in the first half but,can only put up 13 points. Can’t imagine what was said at halftime, but The Chargers came out scored two, unanswered, touchdowns and take the lead. They would trade field goals, with The Chargers having a 1 point advantage with 4:35 on the clock, and The Chiefs get the ball back. Right about now millions of Chiefs fans,Swifties, and maybe one Bronco’s fan, just outside of Denver are praying for The Chiefs to win. Yes our very own @Mizmazzle tempted fate by picking The Chiefs to win, secretly, hoping he could invoke the dreaded jinx. He knew that there was no way that the football gods would let a Broncos fan win by picking The Chiefs, but he was willing to take one for the team. With 1 second left on the clock,The Chiefs line up for the field goal attempt. Mizmazzle is drinking the good bourbon has the socks out,and is about to experience what I call a Happy/Sad moment,as the kick is up,hooks left, and as John Madden used to say…Doink,it hits the upright and bounces through the goal post and Mizmazzle bounces into Week 15 with his 10th consecutive win. Doesn’t get much more dramatic than that, and once again, only intensified,by the effect the potential outcome would have on The Pool. I’ve run out of superlative congratulatory accolades to bestow upon the two of you so how about a simple…Well done!!!! In all seriousness both games could’ve gone either way. Four weeks left in the regular season. Keep it going. Football Thursday,Sunday and two games on Monday. Until next week Hasta la vista!
-
It sickened me to be pulling for the Chiefs. And even more that the finger of god was once again bestowed upon them in the final second of the game…but I got the outcome I wanted, with the Chargers falling in the rankings and making the Wild Card race essentially deadlocked. (Sadly we loose the tie breaker with the Ravens and the Chargers at this point) …but The Broncos are in control of their destiny and a very crucial game against the Colts is coming up on Sunday!!
It’s going to be a very exciting final four games to the season!!
Thanks again, @Jett129

@TinMan It's pretty crazy. It feels like every week, every team feels like they can beat them, every week ,I think this is the week they get beat, even @Mizmazzle picking them in the IH Survivor Pool couldn't get them beat. The Chargers had them, just like so many teams had them this season, and then the kicker squib kicks the ball,it doesn't make the landing zone and you just put the Chiefs on the 40 yard line. They're really well coached, and this is where it kicks in. You have to believe that the Buffalo Bills automatically miss that field goal. They go to Cleveland this weekend, and maybe this is the week that Jameis Winston's prayers are answered and he stops throwing Pick-Sixes? Stay tuned!
