Legends of Denim

@GraemeE hahah. I should have known better than to cut corners on my Jaws claims. Hooper dropped the type 3 pretty early in the movie…but when he showed up to that dock rocking rocking that vintage baby blue denim tux, I knew that fish didn’t stand a chance.
Edit: Corrected my spelling of Dreyfuss (that could have been really embarrassing)

@prosperone looks like Carlsen has won, although I’m not sure how I feel about jeans being described as an elegant minor deviation!

@Mizmazzle technically I think he was chambray and an m-65 for most of the movie but you can't mention Hooper without giving a nod to Quint....
Why is that bell so close to the deck?

Don't forget Bing...

The man, the myth, the legend. King often writes about chambray shirts and pegged denim when he writes about characters in the past.

@Denimhead-0 Wow, Mr. Green Jeans, that brings back some memories. Haven’t thought of this particular Captain in decades. Nicely done.
My favorite Character on Captain Kangaroo. Must have inspired my love of denim

I’m surprised no one posted Jay Leno. He’s always rocking double denim -

When I lived back in Bangor maine(95-2000) i used to see Steven king ride his Harley around the time(no helmet laws back then). He’s got a cool house there still, little metal bats and spider webs in his front gate -
@Denimhead-0 Spent the night reflecting on how much I’ve spent to look like Howdy Doody. Then I realized I wasn’t the only one.
