A bit of 80s metal

Have a lot of conversations with my kids about 80’ Pop music.
A few weeks ago we talked about Erasure, Yazoo and Vince Clark.
Claimed that he was in a band they already knew…Depeche Mode. So we heard ‘Speak and Spell’ in the car together.
They liked it but for me it sounded restrained, lifeless and without power.
Pulled out this 12’ today. Here they are without Vince and full of energy.

Wasn't aware of this label but just looked up the discography and there are a couple ones that popped out immediately
I'm a big fan of Broadcast and Plone and an even bigger one of pretty much anything Sean O' Hagen has touched
