Biltbuck Lot 444 by Attraction

Jamie is best, if possible I buy all my boots from him .
Lofgren changed something with their sizing , so be careful but Jamie knows of course. -
@Daniel-San thanks a lot
-
horsebutt in the sun
phenomenal
-
got some new inlets yesterday , thank god they work great with the 444 🥳
still waiting for the black ones to restock 🥱 -
the fantastic horsebutt leather gets more and more character, phenomenal grain 🥰
-
they got some care today, light was not so good for pictures but I think the awesome grain is visible though. they look much darker than they are.
-
restock at Eastwestapparel !!
black and brown available in some sizes,
and Lot 269 steerhide available too
just ordered the 269 🥳 -
I cannot make the Mr Lou fit. Very flat toe box and if sized for appropriate toe box fit, then the heel slip becomes insane. The Lot444 are like Neil from S&S said formed like a sleek race car and wrap around your heel and foot. Way more shape and they fit very very well. I am a 12.5C on a Brannock and wear the Lot444 in 11.5D. (same size in Mr Lou)

I have Black Horsehide Mister Lous in an 11 and Brown Horsehide Attractions 444 in an 11. The Attractions fits much better for me, more room in the arch, more room in the toebox. The horsehide on the 444 is milles better than the Wescos. I think the Wescos use a CXL horsehide. I also have a new pair of Attractions 269 in black steerhide and they are noticeably thinner leather than the 444 horsehide and the last is different, harder to get on, but feel like they have more room in the toebox than the 444s.

@smittybat I have a pair of Wesco MR Lou in Maryam Horsehide leather (as you said they also produce in Horween CXL) and a pair of lot.444, they are also in Maryam Horsehide but as you said they are very different in shape. The leather, even though they are from the same Tuscan tannery, is treated differently. The leather of the lot 444 is less tenacious and dyed more on the surface, the Teacore effect is extremely faster and more beautiful in my opinion. Between the two, the lot 444 are definitely much more comfortable and roomy and are my favorite (I wear a size 9 in both but for the lot 444 I would probably have gotten by with an 8.5.

@smittybat
my 269 should land today, pretty curious about them .
did you bought yours recently?
what about some pics -
Recieved my 269s this, but only got to wear them for a few hours. Some comparison photos between 269 and 444 and Mr Lou Black HH.
-
just received my 269 .
Awesome boots but the last is not mine.
it’s pretty wide compared to the 444 .
I guess they will get even wider when worn in and then they are definitely too big.
So I have to wait for the 444 to restock in my size. -
@Daniel-San damn, sorry to hear that. I was curious about your thoughts on these. 269 is definitely out of my wheelhouse house too if it’s wider than the 444.
-
I am really impressed by these boots. Hows the shaft? Narrow enough to wear under 555 or not? Are they roomier than Lofgrens engineer boots? I just got some Wescos for now but you need to make plans no?
-
@ZackB
they are wider than the 444. For me the problem is that I have to wear orthopedic insoles and therefore I need to size up . So they might be good for you even they are a little wider than the 444. Guess they would be ok for me if I could wear my normal size 9.5 without insoles. but sizing up and a little wider makes them too big for me.the leather is much thinner and softer than the sturdy horse butt on the 444, but that makes them interesting for those who look after comfortable boots out of the box .
@FlavourFade
they are definitely wider than the Lofgren !
but the shaft is wider too . I didn’t manage the 444 to work with my 555, but the 269 seem to have a shaft that’s a little more narrow than the 444 have . And as the leather is much softer it might work. -
width aside, how does the instep compare to a mr. lou?
Specifically I have a slightly narrow foot, but more of a problem is that I have a fairly low volume / low instep to where most boots fit extremely sloppy on the top of my foot where a slip on boot needs to fit a little snug.
-
@pechelman
can’t compare them to the Wesco’s .
But if you want engineers that fit like a sock , than Clinch is the way to go.
Role Club would be a great alternative too, and easier to get at the moment I guess. -
Thanks @Daniel-San
The wesco has the right instep for me in a standard D width but the toe height is pretty low. I requested more toe height in a new wesco custom mr. lous that should be ready next week, so I'm hopeful for those. I'll checkout those other boots, hopefully i can find somewhere to try them on.Most other pull on boots ive tried fit me terribly b/c of this.
