WESCO-MRLOU-NATH - Wesco® - 10" Horsehide Engineer Boot - Natural. The "Mister Lou"
-
@jabodunn The extra softness compared with the black is a result of this being the Natural leather rather than the black, with the brown (and the purple) Maryam falling somewhere in-between in terms of pliability.
If my natural Maryam boots are anything to go by you can absolutely expect some great patina and some beautiful, almost caramel, brown tanning as they soak up the sun and age.

@Ross thanks so much!
-
Aging nicely after about a month of wear.
-
-
@injunjack I used some sapphire Renovatour and dubbin on them. With that said it did not really change the color much until I got them out in the sun.
-
Will these get to the level of the british tan domain with patina?
-
@bluemantra If my samples in the same hide are anything to go by - pretty close! mine have got to an almost caramel brown now after around 18 months of near continuous wear
...i really should get some more pics of those uploaded at some stage...
-
@Ross yes, pics please!
-
@bluemantra You can see what they were looking like after ~6 months here
-
@anodyne Sorry I missed this
I think that going to the E wouldn't be a bad idea, especially if you are worried about the width in any way ie. if you find your Lofgrens are 'snug' in width.
However, if you've never struggled with width in any way and your Lofgrens feel nice and roomy in a D width then you may be better off sticking with a D in Wesco as well
You can always shoot me an email or DM if you want to get into the nitty-gritty on sizing

@bluemantra Just done a few updated pics for them as promised here

@Ross Thank you for updated photos. They look great. Looks very close to british tan from the photos. I guess british tan is like a head start on natural veg tan.
