And the winner is @Tom-Longarms

@seawolf not broken twill
-
@jordanscollected All I know is, it's denim! We'll find out the rest in good time.

I'm guessing 18oz vintage. If memory serves, it's one of Giles favorites, and I believe the 18oz is in production right now since the 18oz CPO is slated to restock fairly soon.

@Go-For-Chill you might be thinking of the 18oz Raw, which Giles designed. That denim was sadly phased out by the new 18oz Vintage because I guess at the time there could only be one. The OG is my favorite IH denim, too.
I'm a little baffled by these pics — the new 18oz doesn't have that hairiness, if I recall correctly, but I don't own anything in that denim at the moment, so I can't really compare. I do remember it being more crosshatch-y than that. I do have a pair of Beatle Busters in the old 18oz, and that denim isn't as hairy — it starts out more flat but then develops this really cool crosshatch that's even more pronounced than the new 18s. These new pics look like a totally new denim to my eyes. Hairy texture, little bit of vertical slub, but nothing like the 16oz slubby. MYSTERIES!

@Alex haha you’re really loving this, aren’t you?
-
Can't see Giles heading to the tropics in 25oz denim. An easy-wearing mid weight would be ideal for this cut imo.
-
My guess is a lighter double twisted weft and standard warp, low tension coming in around 16oz, and raw/ loomstate. Let’s go with American cotton too.
Beauty of a cut and denim, looking forward to the final reveal.

Is this cut the same as the "sneaker cut" on the IHJ website?
-
No @Rococo. This is a new cut. The one you referring to is the 463s aka boss cut
-
Hey guys- haven't posted here in a while but these will get me out of the woodworks. Looking forward to them becoming available!
