Been offline for a minute, out in the hinterlands of Japan. Feels very, very good to be back in civilization. Lot of things you realize you've been taking for granted when you're out there. Running water… food that hasn't been sitting in storage for 28 months... mattresses... 

Anyhow, we hiked Mount Fuji today to celebrate being back! Went up Yoshida and came down Gotemba, if that means anything to any of y'all. Lots of blisters and knee pain for all involved, but shit'll buff. Tokyo tomorrow, hopefully including a pilgrimage to the IH Japan store(s).

Sorry @motojobobo I don’t know any details about it. After several attempts to sell it to me I finally received it as a gift from a very lovable friend

@Giles ..after 10 years, Laura has finally decided on a backsplash for the kitchen.  Redoing the lights, moving switches is step 1, then fixing holes, repainting, tiling, grouting…..
