WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)

@Anesthetist Awesome stuff and embarrassed that I’ve just recently discovered his work. We got to see one of his pieces (installations?) last weekend at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. My first time there and I was blown away. Will try to post some more pics but here is their Chihuly. Hoping we get to see the St. Louis exhibit too…it looks amazing.

Great pics, love it all. Did you enjoy Crystal Bridges? I’d like to see that some day

@Anesthetist We absolutely loved it. The collection is extensive and the whole background to the museum is inspiring. There is a lot of construction going on right now with an expansion project but it didn’t bother us. I’m already making plans to go back this fall to see Wilco at their outdoor amphitheater. Highly recommend a trip for you guys. Fall would be beautiful as there are a ton of outdoor exhibits. Here are a few more pics

Ah very cool! I've seen that blown glass work before — assuming it's the same artist — at Kew Gardens iirc. Wild stuff.

@goosehd wtf was that? He's whacked, Im glad he's not driving.

Celebrating my birthday with Ralph, my sister and her husband in Blowing Rock, NC.

Paddle boarding, various beers, sleeping in & sunsets have been my life of late. Next project is starting up soon so living it up till my soul gets devoured for the rest of time.

Went to see Depeche Mode at Twickenham Stadium (London) last night - superb show, with one or two very welcome additions to the set list (favourite songs that weren’t in the show when I saw them previously). No more spoilers as I think others are seeing them on the tour soon).
I didn’t bother with too many photos as a) we were a distance back, and b) the show was just too good (sore throat today!).

Returned yesterday from the trip to Lisbon. Beautiful City, nice people, good food and drinks. A few pics taken, in no particular order. @AdamC
Castelo de Sao Jorge (built in 11 century) and the view from there over the city
View from Bairro Alto across the city
Elevador de Santa Justa (built in 1902)
a few more city impressions
